Sen. Ben Sasse (R-NE) signaled he would support a Congressional investigation of senior White House advisor Ivanka Trump’s personal email use during a Tuesday evening interview with CBS’s The Late Show host Stephen Colbert.

The Washington Post reported Monday that Trump sent hundreds of emails from a personal email address that she shared with her husband and senior White House advisor Jared Kushner.

Peter Mirijanian, a spokesperson for Trump’s attorney Abbe Lowell, said the emails almost exclusively revolved around “logistics and scheduling concerning her family.”

They sure are. We finally got rid of the Supreme Asshole (John McCain) and his weasel butt-boy wannabe Flake is going away soon - so this Sasse idiot decides that (along with Romney and the mailman’s son from Ohio) he’s going to continue the brave fight against the best President we’ve ever had.

Scumbag.

Sasse should be investigated. Any congresscritter who starts an investigation should be free and clear of any misdoings.

Indeed. And where’s the list of those vermin who used OUR money to pay off people for their sexual transgressions...?

Oh. That’s secret. National security or something. I see.

The fact that Sasse the Ass even appeared on dirtbag Colbert’s show just goes to prove that Sasse is a piece of garbage.

If you want Hillary held to a count, Ivanka is also going to have to sit for a proctology exam. Else we can forget the whole thing.

I was once hoping that the Tea Party would get the critical mass to become a new party for conservatives. Unfortunately that never happened. But Trump has the numbers to do it.

The GOP has failed too many times. Even when they are in power the government expands, spending increases, and freedom decreases. We desperately need a new party that represents conservative interests and that, unlike the GOP, actually plays to win.

I got a call today from some term limits group looking for donations. Term limits has worked fairly well in Michigan, but politicians have learned to game the system somewhat.

Term limits has broken up the state's entrenched political class, and I think a similar federal term limit scheme should be a plank for a conservative party.

The downside is that the lobbyists never go away.

Just wait until Mitt Romney takes his seat in the US Senate.
Many Republicans in the Senate will bow to his will, maybe enough to remove Trump not if but when the House impeaches Trump...pray I am wrong.....

An excellent suggestion that I think would get some traction. There is enormous frustration with the longevity of professional politicians and their sense of entitlement to their jobs. Even the Dems are tiring of their old entrenched leadership.

Its a good idea but the political class would fight it tooth and nail. Ever notice that once in government, always in government?

Term limits is something to push for in any case. The Founding Fathers would like it, and we owe it to them.
