Democratic Salt Lake County Mayor Ben McAdams claimed victory over Republican Rep. Mia Love Monday after new Salt Lake County results showed her trailing by 739 votes in the 4th Congressional District race.
"I'm eager to get to work," McAdams said at a hastily called news conference held at his Millcreek campaign headquarters. "We are confident there is no way Rep. Love will retake the lead." He said he has not yet tried to contact the two-term congresswoman. "I do want to give her the space," McAdams said, anticipating her campaign wanted time to review the numbers released early Monday evening. "I think she's entitled to that."

SLC area is replete with LIBs and neverTrumpers. Sad.
Who started this “provisional ballot” crapola? Vote on election day or tough luck!
They elected Romney.... Enough said.
Might as well since they voted for Romney, anyway.
They just crashed the country’s economy.
No more certainty.
she was a lying horror show from day one. Buh-bye.
Mia Love in Utah has no such power. A judge ruled against her but then she took the lead.
And then the democRATS just continued counting until their guy passes her lead and they declare victory.
It's obvious to most of us that the democRATS are stealing these elections by their shenanigans after the polls close.
She could use some help from our party.
See below and above articles regarding FL and GA. When Republicans win a close one it is a contentious election, when Democrats win a close one, crickets.
2020 may be America’s “Swan Song”.
The only people who should be allowed to vote by absentee ballot are those stationed overseas or in another state, the infirm/permanently disabled, and people that have a valid reason for not being in their ED.
One of the reasons the Pacific Northwest is a blue cesspool is because the voting procedures have been completely turned into a farce.
Same as McSally.
Like a lot of never-Trumpers, she could never get that toxic worm of “Trump Derangement Syndrome” out of her head.
People like her have some kind of “political twitch”, some kind of reflex....that only allows them to dwell on all things Trump all the time instead of using their rational thought process.
She threw away a great political career over cheap anti-trump agitprop. I’ll also never forget her buddy U.S. Senator Mike Lee going nuts at the GOP convention screaming, red-faced, about foiling Trump, somehow. Mike was smart enough to get right, Love...not so much.
Utah was just teasing. Love is lost thanks to the “provisional” ballots being a jillion to 1 in favor of the rat. Extremely drawn out counting is not suspicious at all!
A few other races are unofficial, Tenney (R) hasn’t given up and the rats haven’t given up trying to steal the Woodall and Chris Collins seats. But I see no prospects of those outcomes being reversed. The rat in TX-23 conceded to RINO Will Hurd.
234-201 is gonna be the final. Collins and Duncan Hunter seats may become vacant if they resign, but should be special election holds given that democrats couldn’t win them against indicted opponents.
Now about Mia. I couldn’t care less what she said about Trump that one time and if you think that’s why she lost you need to get a clue and I also reject the “racist Mormons” narrative, she won the Mormonest parts of the district and lost the part that likes Trump the least. However it’s pretty clear she was was a weak candidate with a weak hold on the seat. In 2020 we need to get someone that can carry suburban Salt Lake, someone with a record of winning there, Ben McAdams is the county mayor, he was the ideal candidate for the rats.
Nominating candidates who aren’t from the largest “swingable” area of their districts has proven to be unwise.
Now THAT’s what I call a Free and Fair Election.
McAdams supports gay marriage.
What is pt of be LDS if u do that?
R+13 district. We can’t hold it
Valado’s lead was slashed in half yesterday, now stands at just 447 with “days” of counting somehow left. I expect he’s gonna lose by over 1500.
