I couldn’t care less what she said about Trump that one time and if you think that’s why she lost you need to get a clue and I also reject the “racist Mormons” narrative, she won the Mormonest parts of the district and lost the part that likes Trump the least. However it’s pretty clear she was was a weak candidate with a weak hold on the seat. In 2020 we need to get someone that can carry suburban Salt Lake, someone with a record of winning there, Ben McAdams is the county mayor, he was the ideal candidate for the rats.
Nominating candidates who aren’t from the largest “swingable” area of their districts has proven to be unwise.
