President Trump on Sunday said he is giving acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker free rein over special counsel Robert Muellers Russia probe, including limiting or shutting down the investigation.
Its going to be up to him, Mr. Trump said in an interview aired on Fox News Sunday. I wouldnt get involved.

He needs to dismiss everything against Gen. Flynn.
Whatever Whitaker does I’m sure Trump knows his plans.
But the statement by Trump was for the Dems. He’s letting them know that HE can fire Mueller anytime he wants. He doesn’t need Whitaker to do it.
To hell with Mueller! Thats nothing more than a circle jerk circus sideshow. Whitaker needs real ICs with real grand juries investigating real crimes. Once Whitaker gets around to looking at real collusion Mueller, Rosenweasel and that whole rogues gallery will lawyer up and try to skedaddle out of town as quickly as possible.
Also, I wonder for every never trumper. ..that bailed on us many more have got on board the train..I hope cause 2020 is probably going to be the most corrupt election in our country’s history.
Mueller has nothing solid and so won’t be fired or impeded. He will be vilified in the meantime.
Mueller needs to be humiliated publicly by his superiors.
And then privately by his cell mate.
It wont help
Trump
Will win by 10 points
Rosenswine is dead man walking. It’s just a matter of what day Trump cuts him loose.
“....Whitaker needs real ICs with real grand juries investigating real crimes...”
This gave me a thought. Once Whitaker starts these investigations, he’ll just have to stick around (get confirmed) to FINISH what he started.
“It’s the only way to be sure”
“Whitakers first task should be to have Mueller show everything he has. He should then match it against his authorization.”
I’d give Mueller a date certain to wrap things up...December 31, 2018. Enough of this bull shit Democrat boondoggle.
The President kept Wallis in his place at all times.
That won’t happen. The authorization was so broad....”wherever it may lead”...
“Rosenswine is dead man walking. Its just a matter of what day Trump cuts him loose.”
I think Rosenstein already knows that he will be the primary witness in the follow up investigation of the Deep State. After Sessions resigned, Trump spoke with Rosenstein later that day. Funny, how no one reported on it.
The next two years will be a race between the Democrat investigations and a new special investigation into the Deep State. Hillary will decide to run depending on the direction of the investigations.
Sorry....he cannot get confirmed. This is a temporary position and one of the conditions is that he CANNOT be nominated to the permanent position.
Not me. It seemed like some kind of pointless publicity stunt. Then he gave a speech (his first?) where he decried illegal aliens hopping our borders in very strong terms. I liked it, but it didn't impress me. Then there was the inevitable leftist shrieking. He gave a follow-up speech. I awaited the required apology/walk-back of his comments so common in moments like that. Instead he condemned illegals and leftists supporting them in even stronger terms.
That was when I knew Trump was for-real.
Can you imagine any other candidate standing up to the Marxist Machine the way Trump does?
To be honest, I was probably one of the rare people hoping he would run. I was following the birth certificate issue circa 2009-11, and we it not for Trump, we who cared about it wouldve just been ignored and ridiculed.
Oh, man - Trump just drew and ace from his sleeve: I wouldnt get involved" is pure genius.
You were ridiculed and ignored. He finished two 4-year terms and is now an ex-president. Whatever may be there regarding where Obama was born, it was ultimately irrelevant.
