That is so insulting to interns. Most of them actually have some education and provide useful services. She was likely useful in her barkeep days. If she could make a decent classic martini, then the world is a dimmer place with her in the Congress. With Kennedy dead, her barkeep skills will go wholly unappreciated.

Frankly, I think she’s going to get a lot of unthanked help to make her look as competent as possible for the good of her party. She’ll make plenty of rookie mistakes for awhile. Similarly-minded folks, for example, worked to transform Michelle into Oprah 2.0.
