Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who is still recovering from a fall last week, missed a sitting of the court on Tuesday morning.
The Supreme Courts Public Information Office said Ginsburg, 85, was working from home Tuesday.
She continues to improve and is working from home this morning, Supreme Court spokeswoman Kathy Arberg said.
Ginsburg fractured three ribs after falling in her office Wednesday night. She went home after the incident, but called Supreme Court Police to take her to the hospital early Thursday morning after experiencing discomfort overnight.
She was released from George Washington University Hospital on Friday, and the courts public information office said then that she was doing well.
The court did not have any arguments scheduled for Tuesday. The justices were on the bench to release orders. The court is not scheduled to hear arguments again until after Thanksgiving.
Ginsburg also missed Friday's investiture ceremony for the court's newest justice, Brett Kavanaugh. The ceremonial welcoming to the court was widely attended, including by President Trump and the first lady.
Nap time!
Heck, she won't make it through the winter!
Ultra liberal USSC law clerks often write the opinions for their Justices. Don’t have to be working from home for that to happen.
In other words, Ginsberg’s assistants and handlers are now your Supreme Court Justice and doing all her work while she lay ill and they try to preserve her life for two years.
Is the truth too cold for you?
She could be dead for two years and know one would know.
Weekend at Ruthies
DNC winks
i’ll give her 3 months. pneumonia
Wouldn’t she have to be in attendance at cases in order to participate in decision?
I bruised three ribs and sneezing was a most painful experience afterwards.
WHo knows, maybe they will pupeteer a corpse to convince us that she is still alive?
See my tagline...
Ginsberg hasn't "worked" in years. Some leftists clerks have been working in her name.
But, leftists all work from the same hive mind, so it's no big deal, really.
Weekend at Ruth’s
Should be a great movie based on the one about Bernie.
Like mccaniac, she will be a SCOTUS judge until the day she dies. Even if it is from a nursing home.
On a secure computer?
I wonder!
They can do amazing things with life-support if you have enough money. They can pump you so full of antibiotics and steroids that you could eat toast with bubonic plague jam for breakfast everyday and you’ll keep right on ticking
i thought they were doing such since she took the bench.
