I broke two ribs during the Hanging Chad recount in Florida because I was listening to talk radio and yelled so loud I snapped two of them. I have the occasional rage issue.

I for one am sorry to hear this. I was raised better than to celebrate personal injury to an elderly jewish lady.

That said... neither can we ignore the elephant in the room. Maybe it's time for someone to retire.

“The more serious question is why she fell.”

Weight distribution, poor muscle strength due to age, potential energy due to height from the floor.....gravity.

"Term limits at all levels and branches of government. "

I agree. Supreme court shouldn't be a lifetime appointment. Set it at 25 years or 75, whichever comes first.

This pretty much sticks it in their faces.
As democrats, they have won basically no power to control the executive branch or the senate or the Judiciary. Gotta be frustrating.
I love it!
Who will trump nominate?

If I had to choose between winning the house and Trump getting to appoint another Justice, the other Justice would win.

Osteoporosis, previous rib fractures, possible bone mets from pancreatic CA, possible pneumothorax, reduced inspiration and reduced oxygenation, reduced expiration and clearance of mucus with pooling of bacteria/viruses and potential pathogens. Pneumonia is just around the corner.

We are entering cold and flu season.

“Pneumonia is just around the corner”

Thanks for cheering us up. Another USSC pick would make my day.

Hope she is not in any pain and realizes that it might be time to retire.

I cracked three ribs playing football in high school. It sucked. Breathing deeply hurt. Getting hit - a normal hit you take all day every day in football, hurt. Coughing hurt.

Sneezing......OH MY GOD! Pure agony.

Seniors die as a consequence of a fall or accident. It starts the chain of events that takes them. Pneumonia, sepsis, cardiac failure all flow from the consequences of the fall.

Bet a broken rib doesn’t hurt as much as a late term abortion.

“She went home, but after experiencing discomfort overnight, went to George Washington University Hospital early this morning,” the statement said. “Tests showed that she fractured three ribs on her left side and she was admitted for observation and treatment.”

Probably didn’t hurt very bad the night before due to the amount of alcohol in her system. Probably drinking heavily sue to the mid-terms.
