Rick Santorum said earlier that Trump has been fighting with all his might these last two years anyway. Fighting the media. This will be just like that, fighting congress, which he kind of was anyway. Don’t feel sorry for the Prez. He can do this.

Yep. I personally am pretty shocked. I saw the polls. I know how we all (my family and friends) voted. Now, I know a lot of money and effort was thrown at this race but there is zero way it should have been this close....especially since Abbot won (at least as of right now) by 13.
I said a while back when I was looking at some polls that were showing Cruz winning by 3-5 that if that happened I was going to be very VERY concerned for 2020 in this state (the Senate). Cornyn is not as well liked among Republicans here and may face a tough primary challenge. If Beto were to run again....it just might get flipped.
I’m convinced she has dementia and thinks it’s 1955 and she’s fighting the Eisenbushtrump administration for the World Cup.
Seriously, she doesn’t have a clue as to what’s going on. I do not underestimate my enemies. She is a dunce. If the Republicans are going to lose the House, I want Pelosi as Speaker ... She pissed away power in record time. I’m praying shell break that record in 2020.

Meanwhile in the two hottest House races in the Philly area, Republican Fitzpatrick is beating ‘rat Scott (”Dogs are smarter than police officers”) Wallace by about two percentage points in Penna1, a hold, while ‘rat Andy Kim is ahead of Republican incumbent McArthur by only 400 votes with 99% of the count done in NJ3, a possible flip but neither man is claiming victory at this point. Here in south Jersey’s second district, what was expected to be an easy win for ‘rat Van Drew has turned out to be a squeaker with Van Drew ahead of Republican Grossman by only one percent with about seventy percent of the vote in - probably eventually two razor-thin pickups for the ‘rats that probably haven’t been counted yet- not good....

Does anyone know the name of Abbott’s opponent? Obviously Beto had a much more well-funded campaign and huge name recognition. To think that his margin of loss wouldn’t be smaller than the governor candidate wouldn’t make any sense at all.
Which is about 10 seats worse than my worst case guess and in line with average media predictions (which makes me sick).
