More than 100 House Democrats told Defense Secretary Jim Mattis on Thursday he should not send additional military personnel to the U.S.-Mexico border.

A handful of ranking members from related House committees and 104 rank-and-file Democratic lawmakers sent the top Pentagon official a letter Thursday to say, first and foremost, they do not approve of the operation

Why didn’t they address the letter to Mattis’s BOSS?

I don't know whether you have notice, but that hasn't been working out too well for them.

This will definitely help the Republican vote on Tuesday. Democrats don’t want a nation with secure borders. How stupid is that?
*********************************************************************
To answer your question, it depends on what the DEMS goal is. If the goal was a strong nation full of freedom loving and independent people, clinging to their guns and religion, then it is very stupid.

Now, think about it - Clearly a strong, patriotic USA is standing in the way of what they want, so what do you think their goal really is?

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

great question.

Wonder how many of them claim to support border security.[?]

The fact that they are Democrat Party officeholders in need of more sheeple on the plantation makes your query an oxymoron!

“I think that protecting the border from invasion”

And it’s totally reasonable to call the “caravan” an invasion.

Well, yeah they would. The Democrats, and their voters, sincerely and truly believe that the only use of U.S. Troops should be is to restore dictators back to power, such as Clinton did in Haiti. Or to search the homes of law abiding American Citizens to confiscate their guns and other private property that they[Democrats] covet. One event happened. One is still on the Democrat drawing board. Or the Democrat dreaming board.

I’m profoundly sad that our country becomes this messy. I never thought it could collapse. Look at here congressmen openly subvert country security

“..This is why we elected President Donald Trump rather than a globalist traitor...”

Slight correction: Change “rather than a” to “after we removed a”.

Too bad, so sad, they are NOT the President of the United States, or The Commander in Chief. Go sit in the corner.

Redistricting by Democratic governors of a red district has consequences. It nullified my vote in the PA-18 Congressional district when they lumped my suburban red district in with blue Pittsburgh. I’m suretheDem lapdog Congressman Mike Doylewants these caravanspouring across the border,

Good point. Maybe they're afraid of him.

Here’s an idea...

The Trump administration & the pentagon should keep a master list of all the people complaining bout sending troops to protect our border & OTHER actions wo keep the illegals out.

Then-—when any person on that list calls for help due to an intruder, an assault from MS-13, etc, etc, no aid is rendered.

“Oh, we thought you had INVITED those thugs into your home on your own”......

Well, the letter is written evidence, proof of these representatives actively aiding and abetting American enemies in time of war.

The letter should be preserved for the trial
