Kevin Mccarthy has had a pac running radio ads all across the country promoting him, and his 'build the wall' legislation, however, it appears that he is trying to deceive people with what it actual does.
Apparently, Mccarthy is trying to create good p.r. for his run for speaker of the house, but his 'build the wall' legislation is not what it is touted as. If people read the actual bill, you see that Mccarthy is trying to con everyone with what the bill actually says.
From the house web site pagemajorityleader build the wall law he states that the bill 'fully funds the Wall by appropriating the full amount requested by President Trump for its construction, bringing the total amount of funding to $25 billion'. but it doesn't.
Starting on page 41, we see it allocates $23,400,000,000 for expenditures, with $16.6 billion for a border wall system - physical barrier, technology and roads, and $6.8 billion for security technology and border patrol facilities and ports of entry - not restricted to the southern border.
That $16.6 billion is a far cry from 'fully funding' the wall Mccarthy's description says. But, it gets worse, as on the bottom of page 42, you see that it allocates that $16.6 billion as $5.5 billion in 2018, then increaments of $1.7-2 billion over the next 6 year!
Why spread this amount over so many years? Well, for one thing, on page 46, it's noted that the funding is all discretionary, which means that it needs to be funded each year, and could be withheld......
So, please read the bill, and don't be fooled into supporting such a farce. Also, we don't need mccarthy to become a ryan lite, as the speaker of the house....

I hear this commercial at least ten times a day and I think how could anyone think that this former “never Trump” person will really help President Trump build the wall!?

Ryan, Cantor and Mccarthy were considered the the golden boys, and the conservative new young guns of the republican party. But, once they got in, they all become part of the deep swamp.
While Mccarthy has criticized Trump, and accused Trump of various things, it appears that he actually supported Trump in the election.
When I heard the radio ads for Mccarthy in my area, I was wondering who and why were they being played, when Mccarthy is a representative for California. As it turns out, I had an argument with someone over the bill from another state, because didn't realize Mccarthy wasn't one of his state's representative from all the ads he was hearing in his state!. So these ads appear to be funded by a pac, and they use a deceptive name, by calling themselves the 'state tea party'.
I don't like to be fooled by such shady legislation, and I hope all of you read the bill, become aware of what it contains, and spread the word not to trust it.
