House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) claimed on Tuesday that President Donald Trump cannot end birthright citizenship with an executive order. The outgoing Republican leader made the remarks during a radio interview with Lexington, Kentucky area radio station WVLK.

Paul Ryan’s not on the Supreme Court, right?
And he’s a long-term supporter of the CHEAP LABOR EXPRESS... so I say we ignore him.
F Off retard. What is this clowns next job going to be?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
He can join Flake, Kasich Kristol etc and start their own “republican” party.
Trollin’, trollin’, trollin,
POTUS keeps on trollin’
Splody heads are splodin’
Rawhide!
Lyin Ryan the Back Stabber - the reason I quit the Republican Party
He is a backstabber and a punk!
Paul Rino is an enemy of the state.
Paul Ryan does not speak for the Constitution.
The President has YOU talking about it, Ryan! Dance, little monkey...dance.
14thA says “under the jurisdiction of”. Foreign criminals aren’t; they’re subject to immediate expulsion save for a legal right to a hearing to plead a case for why they shouldn’t be; only reason they’re released (”on own recognizance, to appear in court in distant date X/Y/Z”) instead of duly imprisoned is lack of cells & resources.
The Left is fond of saying “rights have limits!” Well, insofar as 14thA “birthright citizenship” is subject to limits, there’s no more extreme case subject to limits than a mother being here illegally, delivering only because she hasn’t been deported fast enough.
Suffice to suggest the Chief Executive, tasked with carrying out the Constitution, may reasonably interpret the 14thA as having such a limit (to wit: “you’re only here because we didn’t deport yo mama fast enough”) and directing immigration agents to act accordingly. This may be fairly debated in court, and I look forward to a Supreme Court verdict thereon.
Pansy punk a%% Ryan has no input on this. The courts will rule and Trump has his people in place in the Supreme Court. We shall see.
Mitch McConnell is kind of OK. Paul Ryan has been a do nothing punk who only says stuff about Trump.
The House members kept this treasonous rat in place after he announced his retirement. It’s their fault he continues to be an anti-American d’bag.
And like the libs he can’t read and ignores the “under the jurisdiction thereof” part.
Sure he can. There will be lawsuits that go to the Supreme Court. They find anything they choose. Like the constitutional right to abortion or gay marriage. Or that the Obamacare mandates is a tax.
The Left (and enablers like Ryan) need to pause a moment and consider unintended consequences:
Should the Left prevail in the Supreme Court, holding that “jurisdiction” in the 14thA must be interpreted in the broadest definition possible ...
... they won’t like what comes next.
“the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.”
Having established the standard that words in the Constitution should be interpreted in the broadest definitions possible, we will quickly follow on with demanding 2ndA words be likewise broadly defined, encapsulating the furthest reaches of “people”, “arms”, and “infringed”.
Make clear to the Left that if they win, we win.
This POS scumbag Paul Ryan is nothing more than a corrupt puppet of that other POS scumbag, Tom Donohue and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and their “cheap” labor express.
How man millions has Ryan made from these open border bastards?
Punk Ryan has held a nasty McCain like spell over The House. If Republicans hold The House into 2020 this will be a much better legislative body.
You saw how Lindsey Graham flipped over when McCain passed along to whatever netherworld. Same can take place with the House when Ryan is gone. I am looking forward to the January 2019 inaugurated Congress and Senate.
Paul Ryan, the Jeff Flake of the House. Probably should just say Flake of the House
Did Speaker Ryan also mention possible issues with Obamas executive orders?
