Gab has spent the past 48 hours proudly working with the DOJ and FBI to bring justice to an alleged terrorist. Because of the data we provided, they now have plenty of evidence for their case. In the midst of this Gab has been no-platformed by essential internet infrastructure providers at every level. We are the most censored, smeared, and no-platformed startup in history, which means we are a threat to the media and to the Silicon Valley Oligarchy.
Gab isn’t going anywhere.
It doesn’t matter what you write. It doesn’t matter what the sophist talking heads say on TV. It doesn’t matter what verified nobodies say on Twitter. We have plenty of options, resources, and support. We will exercise every possible avenue to keep Gab online and defend free speech and individual liberty for all people.
You have all just made Gab a nationally recognized brand as the home of free speech online at a time when Silicon Valley is stifling political speech they disagree with to interfere in a US election.
The internet is not reality. TV is not reality. 80% of normal everyday people agree with Gab and support free expression and liberty. The online outrage mob and mainstream media spin machine are the minority opinion. People are waking up, so please keep pointing the finger at a social network instead of pointing the finger at the alleged shooter who holds sole responsibility for his actions.
No-platform us all you want. Ban us all you want. Smear us all you want.

Gab is sorely missed. And you’re quite correct in that Free Speech will not be squelched at Gab and believe it or not there are many of us who understand and appreciate what you are doing for us regarding our right to Free Speech by providing the platform for it there. Just wish it were back up and running already. Thank you Andrew and crew.
GAB is a place for cowards who aren’t man enough to say what they want without anonymity. And yes, it is different from forums such as this one, which polices itself and is for the free exchange of ideas and information. GAB is totally anonymous and has no accountability which means it attracts the lowest of the low. It’s where you can say anything simply because it will shock people, and you can feel like you matter for a few minutes.

It is currently offline for a few days while they are moving the site to another domain and platform provider. Masters of the Universe have been trying to push them off the internet and shut them down over and over as they can't abide anyone having the audacity to have differing or dissenting political opinions and publishing them.

Tell me when GAB is back up. I will transition to it in a heartbeat. I’m sure it will not be as sophiticated as Facebook immediately, but that’s a small price to pay to introduce real choice away from the leftist social media giants!

After reading a bit closer on this wiki I just now discovered it becomes pretty clear that it was written by a leftist socialist libturd but it'll give you some very basic background but don't take it all to heart as much of the info provided is either jaded, biased, slanted or more of the same old outright fake information aka lies the MSM loves to sling around about those they vehemently disagree with. Must have been written by the editorial board editor at the NY Times from the looks of it.
Any place that allows truly free speech will be quickly inundated by people trying to discredit it or otherwise disrupt it. I have never checked Gab but I suspect this is true there as well as other boards. One has to learn how to intellectually filter the trash from legit debate. In my experience this ain’t real hard but you do need to be prepared to be assaulted with gore and propaganda porn. If you have the stomach for it you can actually learn things the MSM ignores.
It is the wild west of thought & speech. If you are willing to think it & willing to publish it, GAB will host your comment. As with all things unregulated one may find themselves exposed to some outrageous stuff from time to time. One also may experience some new & fresh thinking being expressed that is quite contrary to current group think.
Just be aware, if threats are conveyed GAB may archive the posts & share with law enforcement especially if a criminal act is committed by that user as relates to the content.
allegedly Gab problems came about because Bowers posted there, but he used Twitter and FB too, so why haven’t they been shut down?
