Dec 21, 2017 - No, as of 2009, paper food stamp coupons no longer have any value and cannot be used to purchase food items.
Now EBT cards are used. They work like credit cards.
I suspect the combined fraud by these bad guys pales in comparison to the fraud perpetrated right here at home.
As an intake interviewer at a local food bank I’m amazed at the brazenness of some of our clients in describing their successful and long standing food stamp fraud.
Really pisses me off because that’s OUR money they are stealing.
