This was a false flag op. I believe someone with running agents skills manipulated this psycho. Either CIA or FBI trained case officer likely was behind this.
The message sent was to outline and delineate the principal “enemies” of Donald Trump.
The “bombs”, while they had all the components and potential of very destructive IED’s, seemed designed more to frighten than to actually detonate. Their very existence was not compromised in the least by the effects of an explosion, but were all intact and the forensic work was much simplified for the FBI, which on occasion, even yet, can accomplish some amazing tasks in identification and timelines. Thus the perpetrator was quickly identified, and the very obvious “connection” to Team Trump was swiftly established.
Not the first “red herring” to be drawn across the path of law enforcement on the trail of evidence. But the pathway is still pretty bizarre.

The EU just outlawed memes and more than half of the graphics on his van were memes.
The big tech oligarchs in the USA have been closing down “fringe websites” and “fringe personalities”.
This guy just gave tptb a reason for shutting down what they consider “fringe” AND a reason for “level headed” conservatives aka RINOs and neverTrumpers a reason to tell Trump and his supporters to “tone it down”.
That and some people will tone it down just so they’re not associated with this nut.
Meanwhile the left isn’t going to tone it down so it becomes a one sided argument or screaming match.

The nutjob didn't want any potential danger to himself from building real bombs (with no apparent bomb-making skills). The only question in my mind is who helped him do this. Could be nobody, he did it all himself. But could also be some help, encouragement, incitement, blackmail, or whatever behind the scenes. He could wind up dead and thus not talking. More likely all his statements will marked classified and kept from the public.
