Latest: -- Former President Jimmy Carter has been warned by law enforcement that he could be a potential target and should be on alert for a potential pipe bomb sent by mail, his spokeswoman said.
-- Investigators have fanned out across the country to determine where components of the explosive devices were purchased, which could give clues to who is responsible.
Former Vice President Joe Biden and actor Robert De Niro are the latest high-profile figures to be sent explosive devices this week in an apparent mail-bomb campaign that investigators suspect is meant to maim and kill.
Everyone who has been sent explosive devices so far is a prominent critic of President Donald Trump, but investigators have not determined a motive nor identified any suspects.

So aggravating that there’s not one word of skepticism about an obvious pre election stunt in any of the coverage. Even FNC cover is running the Rats are targeted because of Trump’s hate speech crap.

Does anyone think that this is just a little too convenient as far as the targets and timing of this is concerned? This sounds more like a tactic of the left and not the right. I know there are crazies on all sides, but I predict either one of two things will happen... the person will be found and that person will be a media-described right wing, tea party affiliate or if it winds up being a leftist loon, the person will never be identified so as to keep the media fingers of blame pointing towards those of us on the right.

Is anyone else starting to feel left out? Maybe we need a new social media app, Instaboom. All of the lefties can take pictures with the fake bombs they received. Really at this point if you haven’t received a “bomb” it just has to tear at a prominent lefties ego.
