No one has taken responsibility for the bomb scares today.
But the kooks at CNN attacked President Trump for not taking responsibility for some nut sending suspicious pipe bombs to several liberal leaders and CNN.

For those who are too young to remember, civil unrest was widespread during the late 60s and the 70s. In one 18 month period there were 2500 bombings - the real deal not “suspicious packages resembling bombs that didn’t detonate.”
Cities burned and riots were frequent. Weather underground and other Commie groups were trying hard to start a war. Our values and institutions were too strong. They failed.
So they dressed up in suits, cut their hair, and became part of the system. They think they will be successful this time. However, they are failing to recognize that flyover country is by and large NOT going to hop on their bandwagon.
Short of an invasion of heavily armed and trained thugs they are doomed to failure once again. JMHO.
That is true. I was growing up during that time and it was a crazy time in America. I was just reading LS's "Patriot's History of America" and we were averaging EIGHT bombings a day in America from 1959 to 1970! I'm talking real bombings, not fake "scare" bombs like we saw this week. Even during the mid-1970s, when I began to get old enough to follow the news, bombings were still a regular occurrence in America.
You had terrorist groups operating inside America like the Weathermen, Black Panthers and Symbionese Liberation Army - all LEFTIST groups perpetrating violence on a daily basis right here in this country.
People under the age of 50 have no idea.
Actually that was 1969-1970 (January 1969 to April 1970 to be precise) in which 4,300 bombings occurred - about 9 a day. Not 1959.

Actually, I did not even mention 1959.
I did point out that there was some turbulence during 60s and 70s.
I mentioned weather underground as one of the groups that operated but did not specify which years. Nor did I mean to imply that only the weather underground was the reason.
Clearly an 18 month period was not inclusive of the entire 20 years.
The 18 month period I mentioned was 1971-1972 - here’s a source for the 2500 bombings:
Terrorist Bombings: America in the 1970s | Time
Weather’s attacks began three months later, and by 1971 protest bombings had spread across the country. In a single eighteen-month period during 1971 and 1972 the FBI counted an amazing 2,500 ...

I was NOT trying to write a detailed history of the period, just throwing out a few things to remind or inform people who may not have known about it. I happened to live through it.
What I wrote was accurate, if not all inclusive-why are you pinging LS?

That’s why I mentioned it. I was pretty young, but stayed up all night to watch the Kennedy/Nixon election results when I was in the eighth grade.
I remember after a few years of bombings and riots wondering what the Heck is going on? I could not figure out why in the heck people would burn down their own neighborhood-seemed like cutting off the nose to spite the face.
Of course, later it became clear that it was commie subversives working on disgruntled people/useful idiots.
Actually I was correcting myself. I quoted LS’s book from my Kindle edition, which said 1959-1970 but the actual book mentions 1969-1970.
Well, that explains it. I was scratching my head and wondering where 1959 came from. LOL
>> Who would you suggest that we switch to?
Most that bitch about the MSM are FOS as far as I’m concerned. But I appreciate the response, and your frustration.
What to do? Something is better than nothing — organize.
60 million voted for Trump. More than 50 million continually support Liberty. The companies such as Disney and Comcast that continually piss in our shoes could easily be smacked straight — but that would require something more than just bitching by the subscribers.
Yes, quite true !
The "Weather Underground" members, who were notorious bombers, went 'on the run' underground themselves,
cut their hair and were embraced into the academic world.
The two that come immediately to mind were Bernadette Dorn and Bill Ayers, both of whom are employed in academia.
Also, Ayers and Obama were known to have been engaged together on some committee while in Chicago
although candidate Obama minimizes that experience.
Just another instance of rewriting history and Islamic concept of 'taqiyya' !
I was at the University in ‘71 and I remember one day in April I was kicked out of NINE buildings for bomb scaresall in one day.
...each one less believed than the last. Where exactly does all this end, and how?
I've really been expecting one of the Hollywood special effects outfits to come up with a fake grainy Russian video surveillance tape of a couple of hookers peeing on a Moscow hotel bed. Hey, at least they could come up with an animated cartoon as *proof!* Nekulturny!
