Actually that was 1969-1970 (January 1969 to April 1970 to be precise) in which 4,300 bombings occurred - about 9 a day. Not 1959.

Actually, I did not even mention 1959.

I did point out that there was some turbulence during 60s and 70s.

I mentioned weather underground as one of the groups that operated but did not specify which years. Nor did I mean to imply that only the weather underground was the reason.

Clearly an 18 month period was not inclusive of the entire 20 years.

The 18 month period I mentioned was 1971-1972 - here’s a source for the 2500 bombings:

I was NOT trying to write a detailed history of the period, just throwing out a few things to remind or inform people who may not have known about it. I happened to live through it.

What I wrote was accurate, if not all inclusive-why are you pinging LS?
