March for Our Lives co-founder David Hogg said politicians should have addressed the problem of school shootings "centuries ago."

Hogg decided to postpone his first year of college to work on November's midterm elections. He has said he has his eyes on running for political office in the future, and has expressed support for progressive causes and candidates such as Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, calling the New York congressional candidate a "future president of the United States."

No he did not. What the author did was unethical reporting. You can not take what someone says, interpret it, and claim that he SAID what you think he meant. You can report that he “suggested” or “implied” he meant school shootings, but you cant put words into his mouth.
It would be no different than if Jim Acosta heard Trump say he is a “nationalist”, and then report that Trump said he is a “White Nationalist”. It’s wrong no matter which side does it.
David Hogg... I gotta hand it to you. It is not often you get to see someone so willing to put their complete and utter ignorance on national display, repeatedly. Keep up the good work, you make the rest of us feel better about ourselves and the comparatively little mistakes we make.
