Just another devolved heathen tribe. Their highest leaders are low-level thugs who commit heinous murder, dismember the body then tell insulting, childish lies to our faces. These devolved humans are the same heathen Wahhabis responsible for 911 - either DIRECTLY or by giving aid, cover and safety to the evil doers.
Why are we friends with them again? I'll give you ONE guess.
A nation like the USA absolutely cannot have cozy relationships (any relationships really) with blatant, cold blooded, liar-murderers. We should not be arming *any* Mideast tribes - those arms will eventually/inevitably be used for evil, possibly against us, and blood will be on our hands. Dealing with evil is wrong, now matter how much money we make or how many jobs it's worth. We're at full employment. Let them buy Russian/Chinese trash - we will shoot it all out of the sky if it comes to that.
We don't need to sew our lips to the asses of ANY Mideast country. We don't need eternal adventurism in the Mideast to placate the establishment, Israel boosters and the Military Industrial Complex.
We can (and should) wipe the freaking Iranians out in an afternoon. The Saudis might take a little longer; it deserves to be slow.
Islam delenda est
Why would we “trust” anyone as politically ignorant and emotionally histrionic as you demonstrate yourself to be?
You are completely clueless about how this part of the world works. You are as rabidly ignorance and emotionally hysteric as any of the Leftists out in the streets.
You are totally ignorant and utterly clueless about the Middle East. Stop kidding yourself that you have any clue at all about this and are merely mindlessly screaming half understood slogans and ignoratn twaddle fed to you by the screaming morons in “Conservative Inc” and the rest of the Clown media.
Yep
Spent nine years deploying there....3 years total BOOTS ON GROUND.
And you're a f**k-wad POS... who types stuff on FR.
The Saudis are not our friends.
They are strategic partners. A marriage of convenience.
to stop the Iranians
You didn't learn one damned thing while you were there, so spare us your histrionics.
The Muslim Brotherhood are not civilians, anymore than al-Qaida or Hezbollah. Late in my first tour, the Muslim Brotherhood machine gunned a bus full of westerners in Egypt. That is who they have always been. All of them.
You aren't being taken lightly because of your service.
You are being disregarded because you are trying to insist Americans do something when one variety of Islamist kills another across the sea.
If you want to go back and jump into all that go. But don't expect people to applaud your reasoning on this.
You spend time talking shit as a hunk FR mystery meat... posting paragraphs of confusing useless bullshit.
how many ‘journalists’ has Turkey offed? why are they so upset about Muslim Brotherhood dude?
And why is anyone shocked that savages act like savages?
one less hate-mongering Moose in the world doesn’t seem like a bad thing somehow.
we’ll slap the Saud’s hand, they’ll kill some more Mooses, hung in public this time, Turkey will go back to torturing and murdering its thousands of political prisoners, and the world will turn again
I posted on this thread that the Muslim Brotherhood (whose late little lamented peon you wish to avenge) is as much of a threat to us defiant infidels as the soldiers for al-Qaida, Hezbollah, ISIS, the PLO, fill in the blank.
Now, you have not shown this not to be so, nor will you be able to.
Said peon was who he chose to be and he earned what he got.
You seem to think you can try to gin up sympathy for the little jihadi on this thread unopposed. When you encounted debate on the subject you attempted to sideline that challenge to your position by claiming you were over there.
But having been there doesn’t make you right, and some of the people you are debating have fought in wars over there as well.
So back to the point.
Show us how the Muslim Brotherhood are these peaceful guys instead of Islamic revolutionaries running around the middle east fighting wars with the established governments. Why should we care if the established governments in the middle east stamp them out.
You keep waffling away from that.
You don’t seem to be willing to debate (or perhaps you realise your position is untenable) did you think your post would be met with agreement or applause rather than scrutiny?
why do you have a problem with Saudi attacking the Houthi? If the Houthi want to sleep with Iran, they made a bad career choice. The Houthi are no different than Hessbollah - first cousins. Saudi isn’t about to let Iran get a permanent foothold in Yemen - and neither is the US. That’s Saudi’s southern border and they already have issues with Iran at their northern border - in Syria and Iraq.
You had to write an entire novel to figure that out?
I wrote a post.
People who have valid points are capable of defending them without resorting to rhetorical constructs...such as claiming they and they alone have first-hand knowledge of the region and others who do also must be lying.
“The enemy of my enemy is my friend”. That sums up our relationship with SA. Iran is the most dangerous player in the ME, hands down, & a blood enemy of SA. That makes SA an effective, proximate partner against Iran, as was our ally the Soviet Union in WWII against Germany, Italy, & Japan.
Did you ever work or associate with someone of less than stellar character? We all have. If so, did that association make you any less a good person? I doubt it. Evil has one positive attribute: It highlights behavior to avoid by good people.
If the US shunned every nation with a history of brutality & lawlessness, we could count our allies on 1 hand.
As for selling weapons to SA, these sales help keep our defense industry prosperous & contributes to the R&D that makes it #1 in the world. If SA bought their weapons from China or Russia, these countries would receive these benefits, to our detriment.
Not a citizen, not my country, not my concern. These people assassinate.
Western governments never do that.
