(Gateway Pundit) Thank you, Maxine Waters. A man named Frank posted a video to his Twitter account Saturday night claiming he and his family were denied service at Ruby Tuesday in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina because he was wearing a Trump Make America Great Again t-shirt.
Frank said there were plenty of empty tables in the restaurant and people who walked into Ruby Tuesday after him and his family were seated right away.
He decided to vent on social media.
Cannot believe our family was denied service at Ruby Tuesday in Roanoke Rapids North Carolina because I am wearing a Trump shirt. Very sad! Frank said in a tweet.

“Goodbye, Ruby Tuesday...”
“Time for some of these folks to start filing lawsuits against these places for discrimination.”
A waste of time and money.
A political philosophy, or membership in a party, is not a Protected Class under Civil Rights Laws.
There is no legal recourse.
Their pallets were spared!
Need to crowdfund their lawsuit.
Many Ruby Tuesdays have shuttered, needs to become all of them.
Is a political philosophy not a creed?
There is no legal recourse.

Perhaps. But calling the home office and making a stink of it would probably get the leftist idiot responsible for this fired. No one likes bad publicity or the thought of losing customers because of the actions of some leftist retard. If the company DOES support this action, they deserve to be black-balled.
I haven’t eaten at a Ruby Tuesdays since a roach walked across my table in the Hasbrouck Heights, NJ franchise about 10 years ago. I will continue to avoid that dump like the plague.
Gonna cost them some big bucks.
We ate at RT last evening..................
Yes, hope they're awarded enough to get the company's attention.
Did they charge you extra for the entertainment?.............
If this really happened the way the guy claims, then I am glad he is outing Ruby Tuesday. However, I think it was foolish of him to wear that shirt to a restaurant. He should never give the people who cook his food a chance to be angry at him. If I am at restaurant and am discussing politics with my wife or friends, I always make sure the restaurant staff cannot hear me. I do not want my food doctored by some left win maniac.
Agreed.
Flood the local restaurant with phone calls...
And their palates, too.
No. This is equivalent to what happened in the 1950s about restaurants refusing to serve blacks.
Its a free spedch issue and these People need to be SUED under the Civil Rights act.
If you serve the public, that should include ALL the public.
Were the situation reversed, the ACLU would fo this gratis.
As I understand it NRD Capital management took them private earlier this year. Itll be interesting to see if they take any action in the near term or if they just ignore the publicity and deal with it internally (or not at all).
I wouldn’t carry anything bearing a slogan into a restaurant. Not that I’m averse to presenting an opinion, but I don’t fancy eating spit.

Right you are. So all you can do in this case is take your spending money elsewhere. And bad-mouth them on social media, of course.
They served me a raw lobster.Never went back.
