Most likely because the “journalist” is a poor writer. As for his idea of the Dems ditching Schumer and Pelosi for soy boy Beto, that’s a laugh. Those 2 won’t give up the last vestiges of their power until they’re dead. Even then, Chuckie and Nancy would still be pontificating - and voting - from their graves like many good Democrats do.
