The husband of Fox and Friends co-host Ainsley Earhardt filed for divorce on Wednesday just a day after she announced the couples separation amid claims that he had an affair, The Post has learned.
William Proctor brought the contested proceeding to Manhattan Supreme Court, meaning he expects a fight over money or custody of their 2-year-old daughter.
I am devastated about this situation and did not envision this for the future of our family, he told The Post.
Earhardt, 42, and Proctor, 34, married six years ago.

Supposedly the divorce is the result of an affair. Sex of whom the affair wes carried on with is in question. 8>)
“The bottom line: Men struggle when the wife is the breadwinner.”
THAT’S what you took from this story??
“Women mature faster than men “
That’s just the female arrogance. Fact is, you women don’t mature faster. In fact, many women never mature past about 14 years old.
My husband doesn’t.
Adultery isnt all about sex, its mostly about lying and broken trust, trust that can never be rebuilt.
A man should never marry a woman not willing to take his name. That right there is a warning sign.
LOL you are right, Sam Adams!!
When I married Mr. RooRoo I knew I wanted to take his name. I didnt want a two word hyphenated last name either.
Later, after we were married, I learned from Mr. RooRoo that if I had not been willing to take his name, he would have called the wedding off. It was a deal-breaker.
Good thing I made the right choice LOL.
Anecdotal, therefore discounted. Men for the most part derive self-esteem from “husbanding” a family. It’s so core to their nature that it seems silly to argue otherwise.
The wife should always take the surname of the husband. It's not a "male superiority" thing. Not only is it tradition but it allows for a cleaner family tree and there is no controversy over what the children's surname will be.
Besides, the woman insisting on keeping her maiden name is only perpetuating the name of her father. More patriarchy! Don't they see the irony in that?
Women often quit feeling it and men often seek it out elsewhere
Affection and someone to tell them theyre great sorta
When I was young I thought it was for younger more supple women....or just something different but thats sort of a canard
Women too can cheat if they feel unloved or undesired and not just in search of orgasm or affirmation they are still desired by someone
Im lucky actually but in my peer group most men I know ....50s-70
The wives dont want sex much if at all
About half the men cheat due to this....and yes most of their partners are younger
Someone very close to me...her mom cut her dad off at aged 43.....whats a man to do....honestly
I have a close friend a former colonel in a serious military branch some say the best......an alpha obviously.....hes 72....good shape after his stents...lol
His wife quit sex when they were fifties.....he didnt want that and loves her and wont leave her nor disrespect her publicly
He has a lover
They are discreet....shes married and both her and her husband are doctors
Her husband may be a closete homosexual Im not sure ....shes 50 and beautiful
They rendezvous weekly and sneak trips together when they can...she has someone who gives her what she needs and vice versa
Yes its sin and yes its imperfect but I sure understand it
Baring illness if you ignore your mate its on you
Cutting someone off from intimacy is betrayal too....of the worst sort
I hate to say it but this hedonistic feminist shout about women being as sexual as men in middle and late middle age
Is bull.
For the most part.
Ive never cheated on a woman I loved....and I didnt do it for them so much as being true to myself
if my wife refused intimacy Id cheat ..yes...and knowing her she would too..lol...if I neglected her...and thats a competition shed win obviously
I’m not arguing, just saying there are husbands who don’t base their manhood on how much they make.
