A Rosemount school district employee has resigned over a social media post in which she appeared to suggest that someone should kill new U.S. Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.
The district said Tuesday that the instructor at the Alliance Education Center, whom it did not name, had voluntarily resigned from her position with the district. In a statement posted on the districts website, Intermediate School District 917 superintendent Mark Zuzek wrote that the staff member did not make the post on Twitter while at school, adding that there were no school devices, equipment or other school staff involved in the actions.
At no time were students or staff in danger, he wrote. The employee was placed on paid administrative leave and an investigation conducted.

Also includes judges. Makes you wonder why those celebs that threaten Pres. Trump are still walking around free. Oh, I forgot the DOJ is being run by Sessionszzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Oh, I’m so relieved! She didn’t do this at school! Like that makes a big f*cking difference! CYA is about the only thing that “school administrators” are good at, because they sure as hell aren’t doing the job of educating our young.
Its so cool that you can tweet about killing public officials as long as you dont use work related devices. No wonder Hillary could get all those hits taken care of.
How long before she has a GoFundMe account topping $500K?
did she borrow those eyebrows from Groucho Marx?
That used to be SOP when journalism had standards about 50 years ago. But it does not apply to a conservativse they want to destroy. Then they manufacture crimes and publicize them 24/7.
Samantha Ness posted on Twitter a call for someone to assassinate a Supreme Court Justice. She made herself public. She should be named and shamed. She should also be arrested and charged with a crime.
A teacher tweeted this? Gee, that is really encouraging.
Or her new job at the NYT
School is in Dakota County. She doesn’t live in Dakota County.
The connection that the Strib failed to make is that the Dakota County Sheriff said that they would not be investigating the case due to the fact that the crime was committed outside of their jurisdiction.
Every school application has a “have you ever been fired by a school district? If so, why?” By quitting she can answer no.
Happens all the time.
With all my heart and with no regrets, I truly hope someone punches her in the mouth.
Teachers should know how to spell: who’s, not whose.
Of course, the ability to spell ranks below the importance of having the moral character to refrain from inciting murder of government officials.
Her tweet was more of a solicitation for murder, not a threat. Solicitation is the name of a crime that consists of a person offering money or inducing another to commit a crime with the specific intent that the person solicited commit the crime.
In 2014 for example, Lance Greenawalt was charged with one felony count of solicitation of murder against Adams County Court of Common Pleas President Judge Michael George. Greenawalt got sentenced to 10 to 20 years in the state pen.
Yesterday she was put on paid leave.
Today, she quit.
“what is the penalty for threatening a Supreme Court justice?”
You get a book contract.
I think "School Indoctrinator" is the most truthful title.
That look is pretty typical for millennials.
It even has a name:Twee.
It’s to the 2010’s what punk was to the 80’s, grunge to the 90’s, and hip hop to the 2010’s.
Look it up.
Drove by the school earlier today. There was a squad car parked in the lot.
Looked like they were there just in case there was a gathering of “lookie loos”
I knew that, but thanks!
