A Rosemount school district employee has resigned over a social media post in which she appeared to suggest that someone should kill new U.S. Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.
The district said Tuesday that the instructor at the Alliance Education Center, whom it did not name, had voluntarily resigned from her position with the district. In a statement posted on the districts website, Intermediate School District 917 superintendent Mark Zuzek wrote that the staff member did not make the post on Twitter while at school, adding that there were no school devices, equipment or other school staff involved in the actions.
At no time were students or staff in danger, he wrote. The employee was placed on paid administrative leave and an investigation conducted.

I get a feeling law enforcement made her an offer she couldn’t refuse.
She resigned so she didn’t get fired. They didn’t release her name.
This way it’s easier for her to get another teaching job somewhere else.
Hope she’s learned a lesson. This was a big screw up but, who knows, sometimes people like this actually manage to grow up.
I’m SO GLAD social media wasn’t around when I was younger.
So another lefty gets a paid vacation.
Conservatives commenting about Liberals are summarily fired, but no double-standard here...

Who will take one for the team and kill Kavanaugh? posted Samantha Ness.
“Resigned”?? She should be *arrested*!
Thank you for that name. I’ll keep looking for a photo.
Locally, I’m sure the whole school district or city knows all about her. This is somebody who wants attention.
"Spooky" is right... did she borrow those eyebrows from Groucho Marx?
Unpaid.
She quit.
The problem is that too many people think social media is somehow not “real”, and that it’s some kind of game or parallel universe that has no consequences.
Every time you type, you’re talking to ACTUAL people. It’s too easy for the brain to forget this when everything is just pixels on a screen.
Hopefully a lesson is learned. Who knows.
Notice how they protect the name of a person who threatened the life of a public official so she can get hired somewhere else. A republican doing the same would have a picture and name posted everywhere.
So why are they being so coy? Her name is Samantha Ness. See here picture here:

I doubt she’ll have any trouble finding a job in education.
A vast number of educators of her mind set won’t think twice about what she has done.
I seriously wonder what she was thinking saying such a thing?
On twitter?? What reaction did she expect.
Threaten the wun, moochelle, pickles, bubba, buzzi, nanzi, di-fi, or the bern and get the bracelets.
Make a similar overture about an R and little happens.
I’m surprised they didn’t just send her on ‘an extended fact finding mission’ paid in full, of course.
Resign is not good enough. JAIL.
What a wussy statement.
The media here have all agreed that they will not publish names of people that have not yet been charged with a crime.
