President Trump will ceremonially swear in Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh at a prime-time event in the East Room of the White House on Monday evening.
The ceremony follows perhaps the most contentious confirmation battle for a Supreme Court nominee in history and the administration is using Monday evening to show voters they can make good on its promises.
In front of a room full of reporters, television cameras and Republican lawmakers at 7:00 p.m. Monday, the president will stand next to Kavanaugh and present him to the nation as one of the crowning achievements of his first two years in office.
Trump did not give the same treatment to Justice Neil Gorsuch, whose confirmation process was far less controversial. The president swore Gorsuch in at an 11 a.m. ceremony in the Rose Garden.

The Left is all Deborah Ramirez now...
Yo! Over the top is what we like. Yes, let’s shine up the display case of the Constitution. Has anyone been to the archives to see the Constitution? Worth going when in DC?
SWEET. Not sick of winning yet! Let’s have some more!
KAV didn’t CAVE, and NEITHER will WE the PEOPLE!
So will the POTUS be back in D.C. in time for this event?
Right now he is in the air going to FL.
Ice down the beer...
More than anyone else on the Left, we can thank DiFi for this sweet victory. The GOP, Independents, and rational Democrats are now united for the mid terms.
The great thing about Lefties like britt is that they never learned to keep their personal information secret online, like we did...
LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lindsay the Player
He was and he’ll be hearing cases starting tomorrow. This is a ceremonial event that the President personally wanted to host. I see it as an FU to all the unhinged lunatic who have been making jackasses of themselves the last couple months during the confirmation process, especially the evil Dimms and their media minions.
Some future Pope (if the Church itself recovers from its current series of blasphemies and apostasies) may end up canonizing Brett Kavanaugh as “Saint Brett” for the hellish judgment he went through at the hands of men, and yet emerged on the other side as an even greater representative of all that is good and right, even with sometimes imperfect men.
But let us not get ahead of ourselves. These things take time to properly marinate, and finally ascend to the rightful place in history.
All the Kavanaughs deserve to bask in the sunlight of approval after they stayed a very harrowing course.
Kabuki theater. K. has already been sworn in by Chief Judge John Roberts.
Excellent!
I will watch.
Deborah Ramirez, who attended Yale University with Kavanaugh, alleged Kavanaugh exposed himself to her and thrust his penis against her face after they had both been drinking at a college party during the 19831984 academic year.
Thats ok. Let all the Democrat men stay home for the midterms. What could go wrong?
