As hinted at days earlier here at D.C. Whispers, the Senate Judiciary Committee is now preparing to launch a full investigation into the machinations of Christine Blasey Ford’s legal team and the office of Senator Diane Feinstein based upon “…recently uncovered information.”
It appears that FBI supplemental investigation into Judge (Justice) Brett Kavanaugh that Senator Feinstein demanded has backfired on her – BIG TIME.
Sounds ballsy. But this is the Senate. Don’t expect anything meaningful to come of this. Certainly not justice.

And you will notice nothing in it was leaked.. If there was anything in it negative about JUSTICE K it would have been leaked everywhere.
I doubt she’ll quit, but if she does, she’ll blame it on the “disgraceful damage republicans have done to the Supreme Court confirmation process, by allowing an incredibly poorly qualified man be confirmed, and a wounded, sexual abuse victim to be victimized not just once, decades ago, but all over again!”, or some such nonsense.

ChiFi at least needs to have her committee assignments removed in the next Congress. (And if anyone thinks that’s a light punishment, it isn’t. The way she got to be a multi millionaire is through her value as a ranking member of various committees. If all she could do was vote with the whole senate chamber, she would be worthless. She would resign the next day. For the ruling class, being cut from power is a fate worse than prison, almost equal to death. )
