Mark Levin: Okay, I'll say it...

Mark Levin Okay, ill say it... 9 MINUTES AGO · PUBLIC Let’s stop pretending Susan Collins is a hero and her speech was Churchillian. Many of us were pleasantly surprised Collins did the right thing. Her speech painted Bret Kavanaugh as a bit of an activist. Let’s hope she’s wrong about that. But she came to the same conclusion as all Senate Republicans but Murkowski, i.e., Kavanaugh was the victim of a horrendous smear campaign. A sigh of relief she’s voting for his confirmation, yes. A hero, no.

He’s ill-mannered. Raised above the Old Surveyor’s Line.

You mean like this?:

‘Levin then stated, “Roger Stone is a thug. He’s a sleazeball. … And he’s a hatchet man for Donald Trump. So he puts out this obscure article from this obscure website, that used that to claim that I’m bought and paid for by the establishment. … And in the article, they trash other people too, Beck, Erickson, I think there’s another fellow in there trashed, with these nutjob conspiracy theories, and just flat-out lies.”

‘Levin continued, “Now, there are sleazeballs, like him, sleazeballs like Coulter, and sleazeballs like some talk show hosts, and I’m biting my tongue, who are so contemptible and pathetic, they want to use the most outrageous attacks on one of their colleagues to try and promote themselves. It’s truly pathetic.”

‘He then added, “Now, I’ve backed Cruz, and I’m going to continue to back Cruz, but here’s what I’m going to do. As a result of what the Trump supporters have attempted here, particularly Roger Stone, I am not voting for Donald Trump. Period. … And if anybody has a problem with that, Donald Trump, you can talk to Roger Stone. These bully, dirty tricks, Nixonian tactics, they’re only going to backfire. They’re only going to backfire. So, count me as never Trump. There’s been too much of this folks, way too much of this. The crap in the National Enquirer against Ted Cruz, the attacks on Michelle Fields, I mean, I can go right through the list, too much, too much, too much. At some point, you’ve got to stand up to it.”

‘Levin concluded, “And if they piss me off one more time, I’m going to urge millions and millions of you, should he get the nomination, not to vote for him either.”

Am I glad Mark Levin is pro-Trump now? Sure. Does that make him a hero or erase his outlandish anti-Trump BS during the election? No. There, I said it.

Bottom line, Kavanaugh is a Bushie.

But, President Trump likes him - so, I'll trust the President.

How many times have we been told to be gracious and forgive Levin for his lack of support for Trump during the election? When this gas bag shows an ounce of humility and grace towards others and acknowledges how wrong he was during the election with his undermining of Trump, maybe I’ll give him some slack. Not until then.

Trump won in spite of Levin.

Well, she did the right thing.

And in the face of shrieking, psychotic liberal lunatics, showing a little bit of courage where none of us expected it to be is worthy of a “Good job Sue...”.

You get it - it was a necessary play of optics for the long game, i.e. the midterms.

Susan Collins gave a 44 minute speech so I will give her major credit for supporting Kavanaugh. Even though this was a long drawn out process.

Missouri has only one clinic in the whole state now.

Wow. Missouri has only ONE abortion clinic in the entire state?? No Planned Parenthood clinics all over the place (like I see here in the northeast)?

That is fantastic if so. I think Texas is also putting a lot of restrictions on the baby killing factories, but I can't verify that.

Agreed. Shoot, Lindsey Graham was the one on fire the other day.

Boy, I never thought I would say THAT.

Where is it, FourtySeven?

Curious since I have seen a PP in a nearby city.

Now that was a couple months ago. Once in awhile I drive up that way. I’ll have to remember to look next time I’m in that area.

Maybe it’s gone. I sure hope so.

Don’t tell that motor-mouthed mick, Sean Hannity, that, Mark.

One of the worst speeches I’ve ever heard. In both delivery and content. 2 minutes in and I was reaching for an overdose of fentanyl.

Collins speech was a brilliant team play by the GOP and Mitch McConnell. She was chosen to give the speech and as a team player she did. It cold cocked the left and by dragging out her answer for 45 minutes it made everyone listen.

Exactly this and more. It was high drama. She was the deciding vote and tens of millions were watching. Not just Republicans on FOX, but all the major network and cable channels as well as radio. Her speech was a masterful dissection and repudiation of every single argument the left made. As a woman, and possibly the most liberal Republican in the Senate, she was the perfect person to give this speech. People were drawn into the trap by her "big announcement" and forced to hear their entire view of the controversy destroyed.

I DO NOT LIKE Susan Collins. She is a RINO and has stabbed conservatives in the back many times. But, she is the best we are going to get out of Maine. For what she did on Friday, I thank her.

He's mad at Susan Collins because she's taken the lead in their two person race to see who can distance themselves from being NeverTrump. Oh wait, make that three person race -- I forgot about Erick Erickson.

Amen to that. She still is nothing but a backstabbing RINO that is taking up a seat of a true conservative.

But, but . . . that doesn’t count! That was very infantile of you to refute his argument with facts like that.

I don’t consider any politician a “hero,” but Collins deserves kudos for not bowing to intense pressure and doing the right thing by voting to confirm.

Not a Susan Collins fan and certainly don’t consider her a hero. BUT I do admire the fact that she has been bombarded with Leftist hate in every way, shape or form since Justice Kavanaugh was nominated and stood her ground. It would have been much easier for her to just cave like the Coward from Alaska. The video of her being verbally attacked while getting into the elevator prior to her floor speech was scary.

None of this matters. Kavanaugh will never be an epic justice. Amy Barrett is the one we want. She will replace the Despicable RBG, when she finally croaks. And Barrett will change EVERYTHING. 6-3 uber-conservative court for decades, upending and reversing the entire leftist treason state. There will be actual VIOLENCE when her confirmation is announced.
