I voted for Romney in the 2008 primary over McCain and Huck. Choose your poison. I know you were for Huck and you can make a good case for him. But I think Huck revealed his true character when he started hawking fake diabetes cures and fake cancer treatments so I don’t regret it at all, I can only choose from the options I have.

That was my reasoning not getting on the FR Fredhead bandwagon when he spent about 20X longer "thinking about" running for President than actually doing it. After the Ditka for Senate fiasco, I didn't waste my time with "potential" candidates anymore.

Mittens aside, Kavanaugh has united Trump fans, never-trumpers, and (except for Bill Kristol) Fredocons.

How does Romney have the gall to show his face in public?
To: kaehurowing
I can’t believe that Obama forced me to vote for not only McCain, but for Romney. Jeez...Why is the Lord so cruel?

Palin was the poster child for that, people were talking about her even after Romney cinched the delegates, they were talking about a convention revolt! She was never running.

Mittens aside, Kavanaugh has united Trump fans, never-trumpers, and (except for Bill Kristol) Fredocons. This is something that people do not seem to fully appreciate. This nonsense has not only excited the Republican base it has united a disparate group that needed to come together to smash the Dimwits in the midterms. Who would have thought that the Bushes and the Never-Trumpers would actually make themselves useful? That is what the Dimwits have accomplished; they have snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. This is generally what the Republicans manage to do.
Well thank you Senator Romney
Good to know we'll be able to count on you when the next nominee (Amy Coney Barrett) comes up

From all accounts, Brett Kavanaugh is a Bushie (he married someone who worked for President Bush in the White House), an elite Inside-the-Beltway Preppie who graduated Yale.
Now, because of the flagburning baby-killers on the left, Brett Kavanaugh is now the most beloved person in America, and if you read my tagline, the Dems will pay a horrible price for their nefarious activities.....and they deserve to.

Heh. That's true. The Palin non-campaign got about 5X as much buzz here as the Fred Thompson almost-non-campaign.
I remember the Fredheads would photoshop fake "Thompson '08" posters uses images of him c. 1992 though. Apparently they thought early 1990s Fred Thompson was running for President via time travel.

Obama was such a bad president, I didnt think anybody the Republicans put up against him could possibly lose. But Milt pulled it off.
