That was my reasoning not getting on the FR Fredhead bandwagon when he spent about 20X longer "thinking about" running for President than actually doing it. After the Ditka for Senate fiasco, I didn't waste my time with "potential" candidates anymore.
Palin was the poster child for that, people were talking about her even after Romney cinched the delegates, they were talking about a convention revolt! She was never running.
