There won’t be a delay. Everybody’s had it. And I think the Hill ‘Rats are starting to figure out that, when it comes to their rent-a-mobs, they’ve created a monster that can just as easily turn on them.

Depending on a vote from Collins, Flake or Murkowski for the betterment of America is the definition of insanity.
A senior source involved in the process
Aw, Axios and their rumor-mongering.

if McConnell doesn’t schedule the vote, no one gets held accountable.
I think he would have to schedule a vote regardless of the outcome or all this talk of consequences for the individual ‘no’ sentators is moot.

You don’t call for a vote of this importance without knowing if you have the votes or not.

I believe it. And if Collins and whoever (forget Flake) dont vote YES and Republicans are the majority in the senate after midterms? They need to punish the HELL out of her...pull her off of committees. Cut whatever pork is going to her district. She'd jump ship to the dims. I'll betcha they're already promising her the world if she would.

“President Trump promises to re-nominate him in the next Congress.”
Are you sure about that? I know Graham says Trump should renominate him, but I didn’t/don’t see anything anywhere that says Trump said he would.

The clock to the confirmation vote started with McConnells cloture call. The only way to push back the confirmation vote now is with agreement by all 100 Senators. Not going to happen.

One wonders if these folks actually communicate. Certainly the guy who will be at his daughters wedding communicated this to McConnell directly and not through the news papers.
Manchin wants to be yes and it will sell back home. If he is true to his word and is discounting high school and college, he is a yes.
For the life of me, I can’t understand why anyone....for other than cheap political points, would be anything other than a yes. Murkowski will lose her seat over this...folks will remember down the line.

The word is that both Collins and Flake have made comments to the effect that they were satisfied with the report. If they have,in fact, done so that suggests to me that they'll be voting “aye”.As for Murkowsi...I'd be willing to bet that Alaskans are hugely in favor so she'd be signing her own political death warrant if she voted “no”.
