Rachel asked the question because she knew dr fraud took a poly. She knew what profession dr fraud is in and what it entails. Dr fraud confessed that she took a poly before or after a funeral. (even I thought that was the wrong timing)

It’s possible the committee had been in contact with the ex already- the letter is to go on the record. It seems apparent Mitchell knew the answer before she asked the question. Rule #1 for an attorney.

I managed to avoid hearing any her testimony...I can’t imagine sitting through three hours of that voice!
They were still "together", but she was living in Hawaii when she cheated on him. (Doesn't make it right, but we've got to keep to the facts in the letter ....)

Regarding the vetting or credibility of the testimony:
Her family ad herself both had associations with the CIA.
The CIA and the Deep State have had their share of anti-conservative players.
If her family had been mafioso and she become a Captain, would I believe her if she said she left the organization and is pursuing other interests? Probably not.
If she says her family left the CIA and she now has a government job and happens to intern CIA contractors, but has written research papers on hypnosis and how to beat polygraph tests, and speaks as though she has a split personality (like Sybil), having worked for an academic research group founded in the same area as MKULTRA when it was shut down,...would I believe her?
I think the pregnant question is more like, if the CIA hasn’t removed her, then she must be an operative, either as the victim or a player in a CIA run operation.
The people who orchestrated this must really be amused that so many people take her seriously as a liar, while they escape attention.
IMHO, she’s either a tool or got too close to her own opioids.

My posting history shows that after rewatching it I was quite impressed.
The "friend" is a friend of Ford's, and as someone else pointed out on this thread, signed the letter of support from Holton Arms. She'd probably lie for Ford.
