Even before Christine Blasey Ford delivered her controlled but explosive testimony to the Senate Judiciary Committee last week, college-educated white women like her represented a rising threat to Republican prospects in the November election.
But Ford's detailed allegations of sexual assault against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh could allow Democrats to solidify an unprecedented advantage among those women, who represent one of the few steadily growing components of the white electorate.
Coming even as many professional white women are already recoiling from President Donald Trump's definition of the Republican Party, and Democrats have nominated an unprecedented number of professional women for Congress, the collision between Kavanaugh and Ford -- a professional herself -- has the potential to reinforce a lasting shift in loyalties that could tip the partisan balance in white-collar suburbs around America.

Usually women like that take psychology because they think they will find solutions to their mental problems
It is election season.
They are trying to manipulate “College-educated white women” - not honestly reflect what they think. They are their targets.
It is a demographic segment they assess as among the most possible to swing, and they are just trying to manipulate with their “stories”, by trying to make women feel like they should be reacting this way, if the news is reporting that everyone else like them does.
They will “Shake the Sheets” at blacks, implying that there is a secret KKK uniform in every Republicans closet. They will have stories that Republicans are planning to take Granny’s Medicare away after the election, and push her over a cliff. They will run any story designed by the political operatives, to target any demographic for any current issue detected by by current polling and focus groups.
Stories WITHOUT some political value, will mostly be deferred until after the election. Basically every story they publish between now and the election will be spun to the max for its political benefit for the Democrats.
I wonder if they are publishing a story like this, because polls are showing slipping support for Dems among college-educated white women.
The Dems first reaction would be to notify their media organs to get to work shoring up those numbers.
