"What you are seeing is the collapse of institutions in this country. It's really, really concerning," Nunes said Saturday evening on Fox News. "When you take a Supreme Court justice and you have senators talking about high school yearbooks, you are watching the collapse of the Senate. Collapse of the republic. It's really, really dangerous."
Nunes, who is chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, said Feinstein erred on two fronts.
"She had a responsibility to share that with Republicans. And second, she should have made sure that the FBI knew about that as they were doing an additional background check," he said.
Nunes also praised Kavanaugh for his performance at a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing Thursday in which he offered an impassioned denial of the sexual misconduct accusations. Nunes particularly liked when in Kavanaugh's opening remarks he said he's a target of a "revenge" plot "on behalf of the Clintons" and funded by "millions of dollars in money from outside, left-wing opposition groups."
Nunes called this an "amazing" moment.

It collapsed long ago, whats new is that the public is finally being granted a view of reality.
It collapsed a long time ago back in 2006 when the GOP started attacking Conservatives and Republicans for their own purpose.
They still don’t get it.
After all, lots of those people have been there or decades.
Feinstein for instance.
The collapse of the Senate began with the 17th Amendment, although an argument could be made that it began with the prohibition against dueling.
Nunes was on Fox last night — Judge Janine, I think. The look on his face was so sad. I think he knows more than we think he knows, and it isn’t good.
The collapse occurred when all of our elected and appointed allowed an ineligible usurper to take the oath of office as President.
Barack Obama is NOT a natural born citizen.
They ALL knew.
feinstein’s dastardly maneuvers is a good argument for term limits. Criminal feinstein should meet her end in a prison cell.

And which political party is responsible for this sad state of affairs? Which political party created this whole SH$&%storm????

It is why we have a President Trump and not a President McCain or Romney.
Its the collapse of the country, the Senate is just a symptom of the moral bankruptcy that has taken over in general.
Perhaps Nunes is one of the rare congress critters who is not completely on the take.

It’s what’s to be expected when you put together some of the nation’s most loathsome democrat mediocrities under one roof.
So long as certain dem members see the Senate as just another “special rights group”, or “Community Organizer Group”, it’s going to be this way.
It’s time for real Senators (if they can find any) to band together and either censure these renegades, or throw them completely out of the Senate.
The Senate is NOT an “activists” group, it supposed to be a governing body, with either side “promoting” their view, but standing up for ALL Americans.
Somehow, that idea is being lost. Going “socialist” is not going “rogue”...it going criminal, and unconstitutional. Nail a few of them for violating their sworn duty to “uphold the constitution”.
Talking about flatulence in a high school yearbook!
to the 5th Reich and Leftist media..
it is ‘Agenda Uber Alles’.
Nothing less will ever satisfy them.
More intellectual bullshit from bloviators in the media. The Senate is what it is, we’ve come a long way from the days when members beat each other on the floor with canes but the snowflake generation thinks this is something new. It’s not. It’s the Senate and business will go on in whatever form it goes on in regardless of the amount of drivel that is written about it.
Either way, matters not to me how or when this monster vacates this plane.
I wished we went back to it, myself. Have some good brawls like they have in the Taiwanese Parliament.
