You worry for nothing. The courts never intervenes when it comes to how the House or Senate conducts their business. That is off limits. Merkley is showboating big time.

If an idiot judge issues an order, McTurtle should just say I don’t have to pay attention to anything a judge has to say on the issue, however given their actions I am going to Schedule a impeachment trial and we can discuss it there.

This is unquestionably a political question and so none of the federal court’s business. If a federal judge imposes an injunction on the Senate, the Supreme Court should vacate it the same day.

Wake up, dummies.

Judicial Branch has _no_ authority to make such a decision. None. No jurisdiction. Do not allow judges authority that they do not have.

Defend USConstitution, or you are an enemy of USConstitution.

I hope you're right but I remember back to trumps travel. Even though the law said specifically the president has the power to do it, the slimebag Hawaiian judge put a TRO on it anyway, stopping it until the SCOTUS overturned him. Do you really think a lib judge resistance member wouldn't try their luck at this?

Executive, Legislative and Judicial Branch...

Coequal but, not authoritative over the others.

Besides, IIR the records are being released by the Bush administration non issue....

Gotta run.

I think this woman I am talking to wants to “fake” advantage of me.

I have to gird myself to be victimised as she preys upon me...

Correct me if I am wrong, but it sounds like a federal Obama appointee could rule that the kavanaugh vote will be postponed

Is that constitutional?

OK. You are wrong.

The President nominates and takes some poor bastard thru “advise and consent”. Senate votes up or down.

It MIGHT be possible to make such a case if it was Congress as a whole (the majority in control) demanding such documents, although the status of Executive Privilege is pretty clear and it would be almost certain to lose.

But an individual Congressmen or the minority party in Congress doesn’t have ‘status’, and the courts will rule that way pretty quickly. In any case, Executive Privilege would still apply.

Trumps travel ban had nothing to do with how the Senate and the House conduct their business. Absolutely nothing about it is equivalent.

A presidential exec order is fair game for the courts, but this is not a presidential exec order. This is how the House and Senate conduct their legislative business and a court has no jurisdiction.

I'm not certain why you don't understand the difference.

No way

And if that judge did he’d be overruled in emergency hearing by appellate quickly

Nobody on SCOTUS would reach this far or they would have 11/2000

It’s simply not happening

Senator, Jeff Merkley better start looking at the polls on this issue. His fellow Democrat, Joe Donnelly has now gone from a “NO” vote to a “MAYBE vote”. Why? Polls, that’s why!!! Polling across the country is showing massive support for Judge, Brett Favanbaugh 60% for Kavanaugh, 30% for Democrats, 10% Undecided. This political Circus presented by the Democrat, Progressive, Socialist, Communist, Clowns will not end well for the entire Democrat Party. The Democrats will rue the day they opened the investigation door to the FBI.

Trump opened his political rally salvos with his massive, successful first rally in Wheeling, West Virginia, The first of five rallies in the next week. 6000 people in the Arena, 10,000 people outside watching gigantic TV screens.

Political Rallies Coming Up”

- Johnson City, TN
- Southaven, MS
- Rochester, MN
- State of Kansas

Schedule, Free Tickets (2) and Info at “TrumpForPOTUS” web site on the internet. Go, Trump, Go Kavanaugh, Go GOP, Go, GOTV, Go, MAGA!!! Politically destroy the entire Democrat Party!!!

Next step: a Hawaiian judge will rule Kavanaugh unconstitutional.

If that doesn't work, a California judge will rule the Supreme Court unconstitutional.

It is past time for the Supreme Court (or Congress, they can do it too) to unilaterally limit the power of these left wing autofellatory tinhorn dictators.

Clear separation of powers issue and this is a Constitutional obligation of the Senate. a judge has no jurisdiction here and should actually be impeached if she interferes.

Give the coercive power of judges, it might actually rise to the level of sedition, eh?
