You worry for nothing. The courts never intervenes when it comes to how the House or Senate conducts their business. That is off limits. Merkley is showboating big time.

I hope you're right but I remember back to trumps travel. Even though the law said specifically the president has the power to do it, the slimebag Hawaiian judge put a TRO on it anyway, stopping it until the SCOTUS overturned him. Do you really think a lib judge resistance member wouldn't try their luck at this?

Trumps travel ban had nothing to do with how the Senate and the House conduct their business. Absolutely nothing about it is equivalent.

A presidential exec order is fair game for the courts, but this is not a presidential exec order. This is how the House and Senate conduct their legislative business and a court has no jurisdiction.

I'm not certain why you don't understand the difference.
