GOP Consultant Ed Rollins on Jeff Flake: He Will Go Down As One of the Great Turncoats and Cowards in Senate History (VIDEO)
Earlier in the day on Friday Senator Jeff Flake announced he would vote to confirm Brett Kavanaugh out of the Judiciary Committee.
Then he got cornered in an elevator by a screaming leftist for 4 minutes.
About an hour later and after several private talks with Democrats Jeff Flake came out and announced he would only vote for Brett Kavanaugh if an investigation continued on the man for another week.
This is exactly what Democrats were hoping for.
Longtime GOP consultant Ed Rollins commented on Flake’s cowardice.
“Lou Dobbs: They were intimidating Jeff Flake. They got him in a small room outside the hearing room and they were all piled in there.
Ed Rollins: He will go down as one of the great turncoats and cowards in the political history of the US Senate based on this thing. And I hope he does the right thing at the end of the day after having demanded this hearing.

Forget the number of Arizonan’s that voted to put this clown in office, for a moment.
He just gave the finger to the other 60+ million of other American’s that voted for the President and his “America First” agenda. If there was ever a more shining example of why we need term limits, between him and McCain, I dare you to show me. He is a national disgrace.
But, his UNIPARTY puppet masters will reward him for his loyalty and he doesn’t care.
I wonder what he’ll do when the FBI investigates this, says that there’s no way to come to a conclusion and more importantly, the facts suggest that Ford is lying; and that there’s a better than average chance she’ll either be caught committing Perjury or Lying to Federal Investigators. What will he, the Dem’s and their puppet masters do then?
And the FBI will find nothing...
Flake and his Arizona colleage John McCain are not conservatives, and Arizona has done the nation no favors by sending these two to Capitol Hill. But Flake is hardly alone in this - he’s one member of the GOP weak-sister brigade and by himself he could not block Kavanaugh’s confirmation. But he also has Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski backing his position, making their demand for an FBI investigation unavoidable.
I voted for him over the liberal Democrat candidate and hospital swindler, Carmona, six years ago. Was pretty close in a Democrat year. Flake was a big shot in the legislature, but he had never given any indication he would be this bad. We chased him out as fast as we could, but he is still doing the maximum damage.
He is only serving one term for a reason.
The FBI will find nothing. Clarence Thomas had this happen to him and it was cleared up in two days. The lesson for the enemy is this “be careful what you wish for” because it can come back and bite you in the a$$.
Well he should have told someone. Just like Ford if something happened to her she should have told someone then so the person could have been dealt with 36 yrs ago.
Those 2 are both liars and I hope they both get what they deserve.
Flake was a deep state tool in training before he got in or he was poisoned by McRino.
Given the choice you had, you had no choice. Heck, almost every election we all vote in, is like that, unfortunately.
But, what boggles me is that his arrogance, ego and his contempt for the President can allow him to do this. Narcissism is truly an ugly thing.
From now on, when someone says they’re not running again, they should be forced to vacate the seat and the Governor should appoint a replacement. They stay for no other reason to enrich themselves, set themselves up, enrich their donors, or obstruct and damage all that they can.

If he thought that he had a political future in Arizona, he can think again. He is a wiener and a woosie, if he can’t stand up to a few screaming screws in an elevator.
The only downside to stiff arming the screamers would be bad video and press, but what does he care as he is on the way out anyway?
