President Trump touted the beginning of what he called the seventh FBI investigation into Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, expressing confidence for the judge's nomination, despite facing multiple allegations of sexual misconduct.
Just started, tonight, our 7th FBI investigation of Judge Brett Kavanaugh, Trump tweeted on Friday night. He will someday be recognized as a truly great Justice of The United States Supreme Court!

Trump asked the FBI to investigate sexual assault allegations against Kavanaugh after Senate Republicans agreed to a one-week investigation, temporarily delaying the judge's nomination to the Supreme Court.
Ive ordered the FBI to conduct a supplemental investigation to update Judge Kavanaughs file. As the Senate has requested, this update must be limited in scope and completed in less than one week, Trump said in the statement released by the White House.
The Senate Judiciary Committee requested that Trump instruct the FBI to conduct a supplemental investigation after Sen. Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.) secured a deal to delay a floor vote on the nomination for a week.
I think it would be proper to delay the floor vote for up to but not more than one week in order to let the FBI to do an investigation limited in time and scope, he said during the Senate Judiciary Committee vote on Kavanuagh.
Flake said he was voting to advance the judge with that understanding and said he has spoken to a few other members on my side of the aisle who support it as well.
The Arizona Republican added that senators should do what we can to make sure that we do all do diligence with a nomination this important.
The move came a day after the committee heard testimonies from Kavanaugh and Christine Blasey Ford, the first woman to accuse Kavanaugh of sexual assault.
Ford went public with her allegations on Sept. 16 in an interview with The Washington Post, alleging that Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her while the two were at a high school party in the 1980s.
Ford detailed her allegations in a gripping testimony Thursday before the Senate Judiciary Committee. The now 51-year-old college professor said she feared Kavanaugh might rape her and accidentally kill her when he allegedly put his hand over her mouth to stifle her screams for help.
Kavanaugh denied the allegations brought by Ford, as well as several other allegations of sexual misconduct that have surfaced against him, in a heated testimony following Ford's.
He’s got uncanny instincts too. He’s one-of-a-kind.
“The next nominee whether Kavanaugh gets in or not, will be a black conservative woman.”
Diamond or Silk...?
In case you’re not up on current events, the corrupt state, the rino and neverTrumpers, the commies, the fakestream media are moving in for the kill.
Yes...it’s time to go full pinochet. Complete with helicopter tours
I am well aware of the dangerous situation we are in but there not going to be a military takeover no matter how much you want it. It is a fantasy.
Trump apparently found her testimony compelling and found her credible. She may have seemed that way, but you would think that someone on his staff would have presented a list of all the holes in her story.
Where are you going? I’d like to hear good ideas...
Trump bought into her testimony per the NYT.
Kill or be killed. When the dems finally remove Trump and regain power, the republic will be officially DEAD. Tyranny will reign. If you don’t think there will be round ups, etc., you don’t know anything about leftists or history.
Calm down everyone! Yes it sucks we didn’t get this vote today....I am pissed. But it will happen. We’ll win. Keep praying. And the republicans will look good in contrast to the demon left.in the end.
Trump didn’t become a billionaire in the “shark tank” of NYC by using “misplaced Christian benvolence”!
I assume that's not directed at me. I'm calm. Pissed off, yes. But calm.... :)
Beg to differ. Strongly.
Agree.
Someday Trump will be recognized as one of the best Presidents in America’s History.
Sessions!
(Runs and hides)
This is Trump’s ultimate test, he’d better not fail it.
We weren’t going to get a full floor vote today anyway. I think the earliest it was scheduled was for Tuesday. And I just heard on Hannity that the FBI has already started their “investigating”.

“The people most in legal jeopardy from the FBI looking into Fords accusations are Ford herself plus her leftist attorney handlers. Based upon the many discrepancies that have arisen from her testimony, she could well be found to have engaged in false testimony...”
For which she shall absolutely suffer... nothing at all.
Well, dontcha kno? The new hotness is to hold a vote, knowing you dont have the votes!
That’s what FR’s cowboys are pushing for....so they can righteously lose like a good conservative is suppose to....so they can then, well, hell if they got to that part.
“Come what may”? Just a group of idiots we have on our side. I’d rather take the one thing that could get the votes we need, rather than toss it all because some chowderheads want to lose virtiously.
