Aside from the obvious comments about the "gay" issue, I find it interesting that Protestant leaders think they can make demands of a Roman Catholic Cardinal.

Perhaps they are confident of being obeyed?

“...strongly reject the recent burning of the LGTBQ-friendly flag ...”

This Protestant applauds the priest who burned the LGTBQ flag. That flag is the devils handiwork.

Any “Protestant” leader who would condemn this is neither. There are apostate pretenders on this side of the Tiber, too. Shun them, we do.

Condemn him? It would be more appropriate to elevate him to Pope and ride Frankie out of the Vatican on a rail.

Vile homosexuals have permeated the Catholic Church and will never willingly or gracefully release their perverted grip. It is their goal to change church teaching and doctrine to be consistent with hedonistic practices that are now common in western societies. The Protestants ought to be amused. That priest burning the gay flag is akin to Luthier posting his 95 objections. Cupich and Pope “who am I to judge Francis will do nothing to purge the cancerous homosexuals from the Church.

I suspect this is fake news designed to cause turmoil - satan’s main weapon.

#1 They are identified as leaders AND people of faith - so not all "leaders"
#2 He was not disrespecting different peoples but instead their ideology
#3 If they are Bible scholars they may want to re-visit the story between Elijah and four hundred and fifty Baal priests before choosing sides.

Does this Priest think he can practice his spiritual beliefs as he sees fit? Just who does he think he is? Conform or be punished!

I saw a rainbow on the way to work this morning. It reminded me of God’s promise. It disappoints me that evil has confiscated this symbol too.

Scripture says there must be a great falling away before Christ comes. We are seeing it now.

"Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come. Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, . ." 2 Thess 2

“Protestant” began in no small part because of a desire to conform to the Scripture rather than to traditions and abuses of men ... people who blatantly toss Scripture aside to approve of homosexuality or homosexual pride can call themselves whatever they want — Protestant, Catholic, Orthodox — but they are in danger of being in a Romans 1:18-32 state ... not nearly as much in “danger” of being found to be any sort of blood bought Saints.

The Gaystapo is in too many places, spring up like noxious weeds, they are ideologically aggressive with their apostasy, and they are in desperate need of repentance ... the exact opposite of “pride”.

From the article: “We believe Rev. Kalchik is endangering the LGBTQIA+ people with hatred and violence using his authority as a Catholic priest when he burned that rainbow colored flag for the reasons he asserted,” said Mack.

First, this Rev. Lindsay Mack is a pastor in the ELCA, a very liberal church. Second, anyone who would actually write "LGBTQIA+" in a letter, with zero sense of irony or humor, has his head so far up the as* of left-wing culture that he should never be listened to on any subject.

And third, that "rainbow flag" had a CROSS on it, pastor. Do you not have the sense to know you don't do that?

From the article: A copy of the letter, obtained by Sneed, identifies the groups as comprised of “religious leaders and people of faith in Chicago and as colleagues in ministry who represent congregations and organizations from across the city.

Consider the location: Chicago.

Consider the people: likely many activists. ”

Consider the faith: Liberals. It nowhere says it is restricted to Protestants, nor to ministers, but "identifies the groups as comprised of “religious leaders and people of faith in Chicago and as colleagues in ministry who represent congregations and organizations from across the city.

In contrast (stats somewhat dated,

In a 2010 LifeWay Research survey 77 percent of American Protestant pastors (57% of mainline versus 87% evangelical) strongly disagree with same-sex marriage, with 6% percent somewhat disagreeing, and 5% being somewhat in agreement and 10 percent strongly agreeing. (5% of evangelical).

LGTBQ-friendly flag

Really?

Greeting one another with an air kiss is 'friendly'.

Flying the banner for the Rump Rangers is a wee bit MORE than that.

I was so confused as to why the opinions of Protestant ministers was relevant that I actually temporarily became African-American.
