Hold the hearing. If she shows fine. If she doesn’t fine. Then hold the vote.
Her and her handler’s goal was never to allow her to ‘tell her story.’ The goal has always been to derail the nomination and/or delay the vote until the Democrats can regain power.

The female attorney that Kavenaugh has representing him is a fricken’ pitbull. When the dust settles, I’d be surprised if Ford even has an old, used pot to even piss in. There are numerous charges besides the perjury charge and she’s gonna get hit with all of em...and then some.

I can agree with that. She wrote an anonymous letter to her local democrat who took it from there. DiFi kept it secret because she knew it was bull. She finally pulled it out at the end as a hail mary thinking the Judge would slink away.
Now that he is standing strong they don’t know what to do next.

She's got other reasons not to want to testify.
First, it is entirely possible she will be asked questions about her own sexual history/background that she may not want to answer.
Second, she may be worried about other questions she may be asked for which she doesn't have a good answer. "Why did you scrub your social media presence"? "Is it true you wore a pink pussy hat?"
Third -- and I think this may be the big one -- she and her allies may decide they have more to gain from her not appearing at the hearing because it was "biased, unfair, and sexist to the core", rather than appearing, perhaps not doing well, and having Kavanaugh confirmed anyway.
Better to be a martyr than fall on your face in front of the whole country.
She will not want to risk testifying under oath. I think she will bail.

While that is my concern, I’m still trying to figure out how will they be able to prove she’s lying. I mean, I’m sure she’s lying. It’s still pretty much proving a negative, but in reverse. It’s going to be interesting.

Was she ever planning to show? She was a stall so the dems could find or invent credible women and have time to gin up another riot if necessary. One can’t help but think they thought it would be like the Roy Moore situation. Make the bogus claims, then after they achieve their goals, disappear.
I emailed my senator Jeff Flake and reminded him that as an AZ voter, we helped elect Donald J Trump because of his judicial nominees and it is his job (the one we are paying him to do) to give a “YES” vote. I went into severe detail about how this whole business is appalling and should not be considered as the burden of proof lies with the accuser and that Judge Kavanaugh has done nothing wrong.
