The rubber is about to meet the road for Senate Republicans. They have a simple choice: they can vote to confirm Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, thereby ending the baseless and unsubstantiated Democrat- and media-fueled smear campaign against him, or they can kiss House and Senate majorities goodbye for the next decade, if not longer.
[....]
A refusal to vote to confirm Kavanaugh in the face of a blatantly obvious Democrat smear campaign, orchestrated in concert with a compliant and obscenely partisan national media, will be strike three, and there will be no more at-bats. I have spent a career working in and covering politics, and I have never witnessed the kind of anger among rank-and-file GOP voters generated from a combination of the unsubstantiated Democrat attacks on Kavanaugh and the flaccid response of emasculated Republicans.
The stakes of the current battle over Kavanaugh are far bigger than a single Supreme Court seat, and Republican voters understand this, even if their elected lawmakers dont. Its bigger than Roe v. Wade, Obamacare, or Second Amendment rights. Democrats are trying to turn the rule of law on its head, to destroy the presumption of innocence not for themselves, mind you, but for anyone who dares to oppose their totalitarian political agenda.

How many women will the libs find to do this when Trump nominates Amy Coney Barrett???
Nonsense. They have Zero Credibility. In spite of the complicit MSM Liars.
Unless McConnell votes NOW

I hope very much that I’m wrong on this. We’ll see.
RUSH agrees, they hold their own destiny.

A defining moment for the GOP. Unfortunately, this is party that specializes in snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. Its the only thing they are good at.
Not happening, unfortunately.
Are they complicit in the deep state coup attempt? If they are exposed there, they are vulnerable.
New ball game. Those days are over. Trump is a winner and he will see this through to victory. Take it to the bank.
I must not be on the same sheet of music that Mr. Davis is.
Isnt the best that patriots can do at this point in time to support Pres. Trump for the 2018 elections to get out and vote Republican ticket at the ballot boxes?
In other words, since the states have so far failed to amend the Constitution to give themselves recall power for federal lawmakers, dont patriots now have to wait until the 2020 elections to primary surviving RINOs for the way that they are handling the Kavanaugh confirmation?
What am I overlooking?
great article it’s on point
Stated like a true Republican. Gutless, whiny and emasculated. Congrats you are the poster turd for today’s Republican. Go stick your head back in the sand. Just don’t get any of the sand in your vagina. “Oooh, the nasty old Democrats want to fight! I surrender! Don’t say mean things about me!” Loser!
All the more reason we should be insisting upon TERM LIMITS. There is no honest way that an elected official can become fabulously wealthy on a modest $174,000 per year salary, in DC's high cost-high tax environment. But they do so, hundreds of them.
Yes, this article says what people are thinking.
I don’t want another woman on the Supreme court right now
Kavanaugh must stand as our Horatius on the Bridge.
His stand has shown the true evil of the Marxists. There is no lie, no smear , no insult too low for them to spout in order to achieve their deranged anti-American goals.
The line must be drawn here and said NO MORE
You’re overlooking that there is no wall, and Obamacare is still the law of the land. SCOTUS judge fail would be strike three. That is the author’s point.
I love the tax cuts, the rebuilt military, the soaring economy, and everything else Trump has done. People like you and I will enthusiastically vote Republican in Nov 2018 no matter what, but scads of republicans will stay home if the pubs screw the pooch and don’t get 50 votes on Oct 1. This is the whole ball game.
