The rubber is about to meet the road for Senate Republicans. They have a simple choice: they can vote to confirm Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, thereby ending the baseless and unsubstantiated Democrat- and media-fueled smear campaign against him, or they can kiss House and Senate majorities goodbye for the next decade, if not longer.
[....]
A refusal to vote to confirm Kavanaugh in the face of a blatantly obvious Democrat smear campaign, orchestrated in concert with a compliant and obscenely partisan national media, will be strike three, and there will be no more at-bats. I have spent a career working in and covering politics, and I have never witnessed the kind of anger among rank-and-file GOP voters generated from a combination of the unsubstantiated Democrat attacks on Kavanaugh and the flaccid response of emasculated Republicans.
The stakes of the current battle over Kavanaugh are far bigger than a single Supreme Court seat, and Republican voters understand this, even if their elected lawmakers dont. Its bigger than Roe v. Wade, Obamacare, or Second Amendment rights. Democrats are trying to turn the rule of law on its head, to destroy the presumption of innocence not for themselves, mind you, but for anyone who dares to oppose their totalitarian political agenda.

Exactly. Some are not thinking clearly.
Mitch should force this immediately to a floor vote.
Time to call some bluffs.
Tell Trump to quickly purchase and overnight deliver some spines and gonads to Senate GOP. Give Corker and Flake a double dose!
This lynching can only happen if the GOP Senators allow it.
not the dems base
He sure did
Great article. I personally don’t care how many whores Avenatti, Soros, et al, have in their corral, to be pulled out one per day. They can make this into the biggest circus since PT Barnum. All I want is 50 votes on Oct 1, plus Pence. All this “Grassley shoulda, woulda coulda” is pointless. What we have is what we have. Full vote on Oct 1st, confirm by at least one vote. Anything less, as the author states, would be an “extinction level event”. Get it done or be extinct.
Sadly, I think Kavanaugh is toast at this point. They’ll just produce woman after woman.
Republicans Have A Choice: Vote To Confirm Kavanaugh Or Get Slaughtered In November.
Very close to right on. Most real Americans are fed up with this Soros funded Bullshit. JUST VOTE!!
Moderates and independents who were considering voting Democrat might change their mind though.
Corker and Flake are leaving
No chance of slaughtering them
“...What’s sad is that what is best for our Republic — for our Constitution — does not appear to hold much sway into their political calculations...”
Hell, it’s been this way for years...For most “professional politicians” anyway...
Trump has surprised them all...Republican and Democrat...
They are ALL scared....
If they cave in to obviously BS claims the base will sit out in disgust. Confirm him and fight back.
There’s no “Eeyore” party. Your choices are to support the republicans or lose your country.
Are they that dense or out of touch that they are blithely doddering along without any sense of urgency?

We are bending over backwards to accommodate this cuck, who's trying to get a high-paying analyst gig at CNN or MSNBC and could surely use some liberal appreciation to get his salary as high as possible, while he demands that we endlessly give in to Ford's delaying tactics...
I must tell my story.
OK.
In front of the Senate.
OK.
In a full hearing.
OK.
As soon as possible.
OK.
Actually I’m busy.
OK.
My email doesn’t work.
OK.
I can’t fly on planes.
OK.
I need more time.
OK.

And now we find out his vote is ungettable -- he's already decided to give the GOP one last knife in the back:
Jeff Flake, who has been going along with Democrat efforts to delay testimony from Kavanaugh's accuser, is preparing to vote "present" on Kavanaugh when his nomination comes to a vote in the Senate Judiciary Committee, per sources.

A friend says we can't even subpoena Ford, because we need a majority of votes for that, and the quisling cuck Flake will not vote in favor of it.
He's deliberately sabotaging the GOP -- as liberal cucks do.
And then their fellow liberals whine and howl when we attempt to primary these guys out of the party.
Another friend has been saying for some time: "The fake-conservative cucks are the Defeat Mechanism of conservatism." It is only because we permit liberals to obtain positions of power within an ostensibly conservative party that we are forever in this position of having to win over liberal votes in our own [expletive deleted] "conservative" party.
And of course people like Flake, Corker, Murkowski, and before them, the original backstabbing "maverick" McCain, are always there to drive the knife in our backs at the most critical moments.
I don't want to hear another [expletive deleted] word from the cucks about the danger of primarying people who are plainly on the other side.
And notice the cucks get the most excited by the most liberal Republican candidates possible -- Sasse, Gardiner, etc. They always shriek in horror when real conservative candidates are running.
Chess thread below. I don't mean to stomp it but this is big news.
there are ways to get to them.
Hey Newbie....they had to dig deep for these 2. Grow a pair.
Speaking for myself. There is no way I stay home in Nov. or vote for a Rat. Better the devil I know than turning govt over to the Rats. Get real. We may not have the best choices but Im not giving up. This is war and there is no line of retreat.
If flake pulls a McTraitor it becomes a tie Pence can fix it. Unfortunately that still leaves the 2 sisters and Corker.
I just heard this argument on the radio. Worst argument ever.
The Senate should not confirm Kavanaugh until AFTER November because it will motivate Republicans to get to the Polls and THEN we will have a majority.
Hey idiot, we have a majority...NOW!!!!
