The Senate Judiciary Committee has reportedly reached a tentative agreement for Christine Blasey Ford, the woman accusing Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault, to testify next week.
The deal, struck hours after Ford's lawyer responded to an early afternoon deadline saying that she would testify before the panel, would have her testify on Thursday, according to multiple reports.
The person briefed on talks between the Judiciary Committee and Ford's lawyers told the AP that talks would continue into Sunday.
Tweet: Nicholas Fanos: NEW: Per multiple sources familiar, lawyers for Blasey Ford, Grassley and Feinstein have tentatively agreed to a THURSDAY hearing in a call this evening.
The skank better be under oath.
Great — they came to an agreement on what was one of the most inconsequential details of Ford’s testimony. LOL.
The Dems will turn it into a Circus
What’s the catch?
A Senate hearing without sworn testimony is nothing more than a press conference.
The terms no doubt require Kavanaugh to wear an orange prison jumpsuit with handcuffs and ankle chains.
Considering that she is a woman, rather than call it testimony, perhaps they should call it ovamony.
The skank better be under oath”
which one, Ford or Feinstein?
So now its Thursday. Grassley might as well turn over the gavel over to Ford or the Rat committee members.
This is ridiculous. Flake must have threatened to vote no in committee.
So Kavanaugh wont be there for the first arguments in front of SCOTUS. I sure hope Roberts chooses an inconsequential case to start off the term. Does anybody know which case might be first? That may be the key to all of this ridiculousness.......to not let Kavanaugh hear the first case.
It is already a circus. The circus will start wearing thin when the leftist “activists” start causing trouble (which they will, it’s what they do). Although I’m beyond PO-ed about this, I remain confident that Grassley and McConnell know what they’re doing.
Time is on our side.
Flake threatened to vote “Present” so he’s sending the final FU to Trump
Still talking?
SNORT.
‘Tentative’ agreement.
Ha. Good one.
