Yesterday evening, Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) gave attorney Debra S. Katz an ultimatum - agree to reasonable testimonial terms for her client and alleged sexual assault survivor Professor Christine Blasey Ford by 10:00 PM Friday or the Senate would go ahead and vote on Monday to confirm Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh. In return, Katz accused the senator of establishing an "arbitrary" deadline and flatly declined to comply with his request and instead asked for one more day. Shortly after midnight, Sen. Grassley agreed to give Katz and her client one more day.

The picture of the woman passed out on a picnic table has been on the internet for many years. While anything is possible, I think there is a 1 in 7 billion chance that it is Ford. It’s probably some Russian. Or a girl from the UK.
In view of the fact that DiFi refuses to provide the unredacted letter, I don’t think that the Repubs owe this Ford woman any consideration including even bothering to hear her statement.
Regardless of that - using Democrat standards - it is a “substantially accurate” picture of what happened and should be considered by the committee as evidence. :)
I actually pick a street address, city and zip code. And the funny thing is that you get on these a$$holes mailing lists as a consequence. I did it to Elizabeth Dole, and she sent me personal e-mails. Ditto for Orrin Hatch, who got all “wet” when I told him (truthfully) that my great grandfather founded a town in Utah at the behest of Brigham Young.

If the nomination still goes through, it’s worth it for the appearance of fairness. Reduce the leverage that the thugs on the totalitarian left get from pretending this is an issue. If the nomination fails, this will be a catastrophe, but that hardly matters since it’ll be one of innumerable catastrophes - just a question of how many days holding that one position might have delayed our second civil war.
Okee dokee. Heard they were moving the deadline again to 2:57 p.m. You, of course, may call it what you like. After two missed/opposed deadlines, I call it caving to offer more.

again. And I’m guessing they will continue to call Grassley’s bluff
until Kavanaugh has had enough and decides to withdraw.
And then all hell will break out at the GOP weak sisters from base

Find vacant lots on Google Earth i anybody’s district/state., e.g. 1020 W. Detroit Ave. Indianola, IA for Grassley.
Five minutes on Google Earth and five minutes to use address to send Grassley an email and he’ll be flooded with “constituent” backlash.

Yeah it is/they are easy when you figure it out. When I was still in FL, hairy screed got some scathing letters from me. I got boiler plate responses of course. But no visits from the fbi.
