Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) said late Friday night that he is giving Christine Blasey Ford more time to decide whether to testify on her allegations of sexual assault against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.
Grassley wrote on Twitter that he had "just granted another extension to Dr Ford to decide if she wants to proceed [with] the statement she made last week to testify to the [Senate]."

Agreed-this is the dems plan—it just may work?
Someone needs to do some artwork for a meme involving Grassley and his mistress, Feinstein. ...and maybe his master, Schumer (leather and all).
I’m pretty much now completely convinced that this is all being done by sympathetic colleagues to cover for an Alzheimer-addeled Di Fi. She won’t share the letter she received with members of her own committee. My guess is the letter is completely vague and full of “social justice warrior” rhetoric. And that the writer of the letter never imagined in a million years that the crazy old bat would make a literal federal case out of it.
I can’t stand those America hating socialist Democratic party, and I’m sick to death of the feckless republicans-—where to turn??
But she can’t be there Monday. She doesn’t like airplanes. And she wants to be sure a woman doesn’t get to ask her any questions. And she wants him to talk first, then she can address everything he says. And also, she really hates cameras. And also, the capitol building isn’t safe enough for her maybe. etc etc....
If she seems like an attention whore... that’s because she is.
I think you’re being way to kind/sympathetic to her!
You may be right, but I wouldn't count out the power old McConnell has. After years of mediocrity, he isn't letting his legacy of rebuilding the judiciary go down without one heck of a fight.
I haven't seen that old coot this animated in decades. LOL
Im out. Im effing done. Thats what the evil dems want, I guess. This is just f*cking sickening. I feel so sorry for this good man.
Thanks.
I think it's pretty much understood that she will never testify. Ford and her handlers are just trying to figure out how to make the GOP's fault.

The vote is scheduled for Monday. It is under “executive meeting”. Kavanaugh is the first vote up; followed by a list of federal nominees to be confirmed! All is well.
Fool. It is impossible to deal with RATs.
Maybe he read Trump’s book. The Art of Trolling! lol
I'm beginning to think her lawyers/advisors don't want her to testify and they will get her out of it somehow.
Like hoping K will withdraw. Couldn't blame him not wanting to put his family through any more. Bad enough what Trump's family has been through.
I hope K can tough it out though.
It means they don’t have the 11 voted to move it out of committee. Flake is the holdout.
I lay the blame for there NOT being 50 locked in yes votes for Kavanaugh from the GOP Caucus directly at the feet of the wimpy Senate Majority Leader, Mitch McConnell!!
He has an aversion to enforcing party discipline on major legislation and his unwillingness at playing hardball with RINOs like Corker, Collins and Flake on major votes like the Kavanaugh Confirmation!
One thing I admired about Dingy Harry Reid was his ability to enforce party discipline on major legislation/appointments! If Dingy Harry were GOP Majority Leader there WOULD BE 50 locked in votes for Kavanaugh! RINOs Collins, Corker and Flake wouldnt DARE CROSS Dingy Harry were he Senate GOP Leader!!

The vote is scheduled for Monday. Look at the link

He said tonight not to fret. They will get the job done.
I was thinking probably Collins since she was on TV spouting off how appalled she was about Pres Trump tweeting about Ford.
Talk about a mealy mouthed, cover your butt, politician.
