Verdict: False
Assault weapons are not typically used in school shootings. The exact number of incidents depends upon how school shootings are defined, but a review by The Daily Caller News Foundation shows that rifles were used in up to 32 school shootings in recent decades. The majority of incidents involve handguns.

I have heard that many class rooms were scenes of violent spit ball attacks.
Every school attack has involved “Assault Weapons”. The attack may have been with an AR-15, shotgun, handgun, knife, hammer or fist, but the weapon was used to “assault” someone.
Gov’t could confiscate and ban everything the left currently calls an “assault weapon”. The left would just make a new list and demand laws against “modern assault weapons”. The “weapon” isn’t the problem, the “assault” is. But the left wants us to think it’s backwards.
Always remember that an “A-s-s-s-ault weapon is whatever they want it to be. Remember when small foreign made revolvers and 5 shot bolt action army surplus rifles were the ultimate evil in the gun controler’s world.
Depends on our definition of “assault weapon.” If you mean “an object that can kill someone”, then yes, all school shootings involved assault weapons.
I’d even go so far as to say all murders are committed by things that can kill someone.
A typical mentally deranged liberal is an assault weapon.
I would wager that almost all school shootings involve an “assault weapon”. Not by the perpetrator(s), by the people who stop it.
Never heard of anyone using a BAR in a School Shooting, ever. A semi automatic rifle, sure.

I was only 15 she said, when I went to a booze party at an unknown location and I can’t remember whose house it was or when it was or how I got there, but I went upstairs with either two or four teenage boys and climbed into bed with at least one of them. I was totally shocked when one of the young boys started passionately grinding his body against mine and then put his hand on my (fully clothed) breast and was pawing at my clothing. I remember repeatedly saying, don’t, stop, don’t, stop and so he eventually stopped and I admit nothing other than heavy petting while lying together in bed actually happened.
I don’t remember what happened next or how I got home, but I didn’t say anything to anyone about it. Can’t imagine how boys who I went to a drunken booze party with, went upstairs with, climbed into bed with would get the idea that I was that kind of girl.
I basically forgot all about it until I woke up one day decades later and remembered that one of the boys could have been Brett Kavanaugh, the pro-life Christian conservative and constitutionalist judge who has been nominated by that evil racist anti-woman’s-reproductive-rights (not my president) Donald Trump.
Then as the memories came flooding back, I realized that this drunken teenage heavy petting episode might be embellished to attempted rape, even attempted murder and if we do nothing but muddy up the waters, we might be able to delay the senate vote and possibly get them to withdraw the nomination

Maybe, if you use a weapon to assault someone, it is, by definition, an “assault weapon”.

“Assault weapon” is a typical leftist word twisting and spinning, with always the same aim, manipulate others with emotion.
They will say everything and anything if it help them to reach their aim, damned with facts, reason and truth.
The latest trendy codeword in their novlangue arsenal was “weapon of war” (as if knife was not used in wars!).

The socialists want everyone disarmed so that they’ll be easier to kill.
They will do anything to achieve their goals.
BUT, were they using ASSAULT STRAWS to launch those spitballs?
All weapons are made for assaulting, therefore everything from the Zulu’s asagai to the Mitsubishi A6M Zero is an assault weapon.
