I expect more prominent persons to express continued support.

Gee, could you possibly be any less enthusiastic there George.
Bush makes a perfunctory, emotionless statement that says I am just repeating words but I don’t believe them.

OK, good. Kavanaugh, besides being a good nominee, was also nominated as a nod to the GOP establishment (e.g., Bush family). I would prefer every nominee to be as staunchly conservative as Gorsuch, but this isnt realistic.
But now that the Dems have thrown the kitchen sink at Kavanaugh, theres no reason not to choose the most conservative qualified person as the next nominee.

Oh; George has an opinion. George is defending someone. Too bad he couldn’t defend himself and us those eight years.

I disagree. W nominated Judge K to the DC Circut Court which is where most SCOTUS nominees come from. Judge and his wife both worked in the Bush White House so he and Laura certainly know him well. The fact he named Laura with him is also no light thing at all considering the accusation

GWB never saw himself as one of us. And yes, his presidency and post presidency have been deeply disappointing.

It seemed to me a non-story. Any support, or endorsement, from “W” for any person, campaign, or US policies is BS...
