Six Senate Democrats filed a lawsuit against the National Archives and Records Administration on Monday to obtain records from Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh’s time working for the Bush administration, according to a Buzzfeed News report.
Sens. Richard Blumenthal (D-CT), Patrick Leahy (D-VT), Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI), Mazie Hirono (D-HI), Cory Booker (D-NJ), and Kamala Harris (D-CA) are requesting immediate court action to get the documents as soon as possible.

Their only purpose is to delay consideration of the nomination by the committee and the full Senate for as long as possible. Justice delayed is justice denied.
The Supreme Court opens with just 8 members (again), which may only lead to deadlock. Maybe Justice Ruth Buzzi Ginsburg will die, thus making the balance 4-3.
I could live with that. Keep the staff at the reduced number until the Senate is a safe place for justice to prevail once more.
