Full title: Another Delay Tactic: Dianne Feinstein is Now Demanding Dozens of Witnesses Testify Against Kavanaugh
Ranking Member of the Senate Judiciary Committee Dianne Feinstein is rejecting efforts by Chairman Chuck Grassley to hear from Christine Blasey Ford, the woman accusing Judge Brett Kavanaugh of sexual misconduct during high school, in an open hearing Monday.
"Chairman Grassley said today there would be only two witnesses invited to testify at the Kavanaugh hearing next week on sexual assault allegations. Compare that to the 22 witnesses at the 1991 Anita Hill hearing and it's impossible to take this process seriously," Feinstein released in a statement. "What about other witnesses like Kavanaugh's friend Mark Judge? What about individuals who were previously told about the incident? What about experts who can speak to the effects of this kind of trauma on a victim? This is a another attempt by Republicans to rush this nomination and not fully vet Judge Kavanaugh."
Feinstein, who keeps releasing bombastic statements, has turned down a number of media interviews in recent days and has not spoken publicly about Ford's accusation.
Grassley said during an interview with Salem Radio host Hugh Hewitt Tuesday morning that Ford, despite multiple attempts, has not responded to requests for testimony on Monday. Kavanaugh has accepted the invitation to testify.
"We still haven't heard from Dr. Ford, so do they want to have the hearing or not?" Grassley said during an interview with Salem Radio host Hugh Hewitt Tuesday morning. "We have reached out to her in the last 36 hours, three or four times by email and we have not heard from them. It kind of raises the question do they want to come to the public hearing or not? The reason we're having the public hearing is obviously, well number one, accusations like this deserve consideration and looking into and that's what the purpose of the hearing is. We wouldn't be having the hearing if Dr. Ford told the Washington Post and other people publicly she wanted to testify."

We need to find some path to start turning the tables on these scum. Diane Feinstein is crooked as hell, how about someone reporting her to Ted Cruz, for example? That sort of thing.

Exactly...After her entire pathetic performance on judge Kavanaugh’s committee hearings she should be booted from the Judiciary Committee.
That is because there are no "DINO's" only "RINO's". If Grassley, and then McConnell were to make such a move now, too many of our spineless wonders would either abstain or vote no.

The GOP would never do it, but how about a hearing on DiFi’s relationship and activities with the Chinese communist spy who was on her staff for many years as well as all the Chinese business and money that has ended up in her family accounts.

Actually, you mutant -- I stopped taking the process seriously after you sat on this accuser's letter for 2-3 months and refused to even mention anything remotely related to it when you were questioning the nominee directly.
Judge is the only other witness for whom there appears to be a valid basis to call. I'm curious as to whether he'd say "nothing like that ever happened with anyone", or whether he'd just say "nothing like that ever happened with Kavanaugh."
In any case, he should be the only other person even considered for testimony.

A contemporaneous witness would be relevant. But unless the dems are going to rewrite the whole narrative (and they might), there aren't any.
The only people who should be testifying Monday are Kavanaugh, Ford, and the other guy she identified for corroboration.
The pre circus is almost better than the real circus.
They’re not going to vote for him no matter what. They should just move on.
If the Dims are successful in blocking Kavanaugh based on a 36 year old unproven allegation, this will be their pattern for every conservative USSC nominee in the future.
This travesty has to be stopped.
