Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley on Tuesday raised the possibility that next week’s high-stakes open hearing to examine the sexual assault allegation against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh could be canceled if the accuser doesn’t accept the committee’s invitation.
Grassley, R-Iowa, scheduled a hearing for Monday for Kavanaugh and accuser Christine Blasey Ford to answer questions from senators about the allegation. But Grassley said during a Tuesday radio interview that his office has reached out several times to Ford and her attorneys to discuss her allegation, but has heard nothing back.

She either agrees to be questioned under oath, or she will be considered a liar.
DF will claim innocence because she was only doing her sworn duty in presenting the information to the committee.
Was there any involvement from the parents “after the fact” or were any parents made aware of the incident? I am guessing there was no law enforcement/medical attention to the matter at the time?
If the previous 6 Investigations didn’t reveal anything, the 7th won’t either.

In the world of academia, young women have been schooled to see men as predators and licensed to make secret complaints that are processed with prejudice against the accused.
Maybe she hoped to sink the nomination secretly. But talking to others about her complaint before it became known suggests otherwise.
I wish it were otherwise, but in her world this is career enhancing.

Canceling the hearings denies Brett Kavanaugh the right to have his side heard. There is no way these hearings should be canceled.
I don’t believe it was Kavanaugh. I bet she was assaulted by someone close to her family and friends in the 1980’s. And told someone about it. She’s been dealing with it but now she is a huge leftist and thinks she can project it on Kavanaugh. I knew the neighborhood she grew up in and hung out there in the 1980’s. Her story does not add up. I didn’t know her.But now that she has outted herself. The deep dark secrets of her childhood could come to light and burst that bubble she has been protecting. threats of FBI investigations probably have her freaking out.
It is even possible that if the girl even knew Kavanaugh, that she had a crush on him and fantasized the touching element. But that is pure speculation,

The story now is that these Democrats, who would have voted for Kavanaugh when he was certain to win, are now going to vote no to appease the Democrat left-wing. The question is, would Manchin still vote no if he knew that demanding Kavanaugh be removed from the circuit court would go with that vote?

If the Republicans fold, President Trump should (immediately):
-- Fire Mueller and Rosenstein. Release all "classified" FISA BS and TOTALLY debunk the idiotic notion of Trump's "collusion" with Russia;
-- Order a DOJ investigation on the Feinstein-China espionage connection. How did it happen, and how much damage to our national security was there?
