A source who said they were briefed on the contents of the letter said it described an incident involving Kavanaugh and a woman that took place when both were 17 years old and at a party. According to the source, Kavanaugh and a male friend had locked her in a room against her will, making her feel threatened, but she was able to get out of the room. The Guardian has not verified the apparent claims in the letter. It is not yet clear who wrote it.

If this anonymous source “dirt” is the best they could dig up, Kavanaugh isn’t just squeaky clean - he’s operating room sterile....makes them look even bigger fools with the stab.

These anonymous sources have no credibility obviously. We can just tie up LE with anonymous tips and shut the country down if they had any red at all. Thats why the 4th amendment exists and a sworn statement is needed to get a warrant.
Reminds me of when I was 17, parked in front of my high school at lunch and eating some lunch I picked up (we had open campus). Slutty Sue opened my car door and climbed in. She was the talk of the campus, throwing herself at guys. I jumped out and screamed at her to get out, while my friends outside were laughing their heads off. Had more than one time where girls did that, but heck no, not with Slutty Sue!

NOTHING! That actually happened to me. My neighbor Dan Sherwood, called me and asked me to come see the beautiful music box he bought for his fiance. I lived across the street. I went over, we’d been friends for many YEARS. We were sitting on the floor looking at the beautiful super fancy jewelry box and he pushed me to the floor and got on top of me and wouldn’t let me up. He was 4 years older and about a foot taller than me. Clearly he was much stronger than I was. I tried to stay calm. I said, “If you let me up RIGHT NOW, I won’t tell your mother or father about this.” He let me up and I got up and ran home and NEVER spoke to him again. Back in our day we handled things like that without making a big deal about it, we didn’t call the cops, etc. If you can’t handle stuff like that you shouldn’t go on a date. Even nice boys can turn into animals! But whether he did this to her or not, BIG EFFING DEAL! It is part of being a kid.
